This is an official announcement of a new online faction in GATT. TriniLive! (TM pending) is primarily a group of Trinis or persons with Trini heritage whom sweat on Xbox Live! in particular, its ppl whom are well aquainted to the 360. So far there are 3 members:
W1nTry (I wonder whom this is)
Redlum08
Cowquad (Formerly Odion)
We intention to aquire the services of Arcman, Shiv and Rumbaby very soon. Anyone else interesting are welcomed to apply. In the immediate future, we're assembling a team to compete in ranked matches on Gear Of War for the Xbox 360. It is also important to note that all persons mentioned make their presense felt virtually as we all reside in different locations (geographically and otherwise). This is somewhat in keeping with the Xbox Sweatage thread posted in the Console gaming forum. Eventually we can look towards competing on the local scene as well, though personally I don't see an issue with having Live! sweats against GLs for such is the beauty of Live!.

Long range: Sniper, Torque
Mid range: Automatic rifle, grenade, boom
Close quarters: shotgun, Chainsaw, Grenade
Misc: Hammer
Based on these each member falls as primary and secondary/backup:
Long Range: Cowsquad, Redlum08
Mid Range: W1nTry, Cowsquad
Close quarters: Redlum08, W1nTry
MAP List and catergory:
Gridlock - mid range (rumble in the street, sniper in tower)
Escalation - long/close range (stairs.. lots of them)
Mansion - close range (self explanatory)
Old Bones - Mid/Close range (Grenades on 1 side, sniper on other, boom next to centre)
Raven Down - close (smallest map, frag tag gallore)
Tyro Station - Mid/close range (train station)
War Machine - Long/Mid range (Turret at top, lots of sandbags)
Fuel Depot - Long/Mid range (helipad in center)
Canals - Long/mid range (self explanatory)
Clock Tower - mid/close range (boom and grenades down below, sniper upstairs)
Mauseleum - Mid/Close (Boom in middle, sniper and torque on ends)

Ok people. i was playing on LIVE earlier and i wasn't too pleased with my performance. So i say we have to organise our first Training sweat ? When can this be arranged?

So then lets say this Friday night then for training, then we will play ranked the following weekend. What you guys think? We can train on all the maps and get to know every nook and cranny and come up with strategies.

Well Redlum and I were in a sweat tonight... not too bad, we've had better nights. We were on opposing teams and they won the first rounds and we won the second. All in all not bad, my performance with the boom (my weapon #1) was appauling, however with the shotgun and bayonet weren't too bad. I maintained the most kills on my team, with redlum at 3rd on his. Overall though his team had a higher kill rate (by about 3 more than I, with either my kill rate being 2nd on redlum team). Tonight (as in Friday @ 9-10) we shall be on. I will do meh best to make it for bout 9.
ARC we need another mid range player. If you look at the previous post with the arrangement of maps and player preference, we need another mid range player to back me up and to champion the misc weapons like the torque and hammer.

Yes that sweat was decent. The shotgun madness was in full gear. As I said, perhaps we have a training session Friday night to get used to the levels and stuff, then we could play some games together. :violent5:
W1nTry on a side note, since you are an Admin and all, can you change my name to Redlum08 so we don't get confused with Masterchief08 and Redlum08, I rather go by one name. Thanks!

Mid-range is good for me.
I prefer the plain old machine-gun and shotgun, with smoke/frag grenades as backup.

Nah Nah Nah, I was the man with the highest kills, my teammates were not following the strategy. They too busy trying to kill instead of holding the territory. CowSquad was not focused he was busy talking to his woman. We need a rematch. LOL

Well fellas, leh we organise a nex sweat. i sweat friday, wasnt so pleasing but i got some good kills, and saturday, great games on my part. i find myself using boom and shotgun lately and it being very effective, im getting devious with boom. my sniping skills are being worked on thou, without LAG im great with the sniper trust me i just need to get warmed up. i got 3 headshots in a row the other night with snipe no scope

Well that's the last thing we need tonight, a Winer, after last night with CowSquad and I playing against these morons making a bunch of annoying sounds, I get fed up and couldn't take their arrogance from their lack of social life and all that time playing GOW. The question is.. will it be a Halo 3 Beta sweat or a GOW sweat. Seeing as I will GOD willing be putting Halo3 Beta to DL tonight, I should have it by tom night GOD willing that is... anyone can tell me how big the file is? I running on 256kbps remember! otherwise GOW tom night sounds very doable.

Well it took me a little over 7-8 minutes to download the 911.18MB file, great advantage of having 9000+ kb /sec download :banana:

Played some other Trinis last night, One something Jose and an i-something. Jose seems Ronnie like O_O itolerable or whatever his handle was is also quite decent but at close quarters rather than mid-long ranged. We'll definitely have to up our game to pwn these guys. Ronnie, myself, Red and perhaps DSpartan would be a REALLY good match up. Redlum in the country yall so what say we greet these other Trinis.

ok ppl. TriniLIVE clan get real big, we hada specify a list of tags that willing to be in a Special OPS Ranked Match Unit for GOW. Halo 3 wont be a problem because we could do a big team ranked with everyone easy. but im in for the GOW ranked. Rum Baby will not be able to join thou because then i wont be able to play.

I find we real poorly organized these days dread. Hardly any regular sweats. What we should do is find out what games we playing, on what days and time. Example
COD4 Fridays 9pm
GOW Saturdays 9pm
HALO Sunday 8pm
Kinda sucks that COD 4 doesn't have the guest split screen feature to bring in rum baby with cow squad. I thinking if we get at least 6-8 people we can do private matches on maps like wet work, show down, shipment, bog ( you know small maps)

I agree, only thingis, Carnival is right there, so W1nTry will be unavailable, I am moving in a month and unless I set up the cable company to install the day I move in I will be without Internet for at least a week, but it's a good idea, I suggest posting on the 360 Sweat board a set schedule for each game so we can get it on! :P

Good idea but we can shuffle up the games every now and then.Also if we say we playing one game...STICK TO IT unless we have a unanimous decision to change.(eg is me reds and monk playing halo and me and reds say leh we sweat CoD4 or GoW then we change.)

What was the point of that post...... but anyway right now Carnival season and nobosdy really online.We need to organise a thread for people to post when on what days and at what time frame they will be available to play and online.not just "yeh friday nights so i does be online."
Have to get back to my Projects so I'll try to come up with a few ideas keep brainstorming people and hopefully we could get an official clan up.
