that darkness game is mad man, i'm gonna play it until I get bored of biting off people's faces off and stabbing them with the demon arm. the online is sorta garbage though.
I was playing Resistance last night (demo) and i gotta say it's noticablely harder than the darkness. got to use to all that demon powers, not to mention there's like 15 enemies on the screen. all i was doing was using cover jumping out busting a few and going back for cover. XD. i'll see if i'll pick it up either tomorrow or monday.

Rainbow Six for PS3/360 is really f*cking good. You would be a fool to not get it, even for multiplayer. Completeley revamped from how it was.
Online for Darkness is complete ass. The single player campaign although short is really good.

i picked up that rainbow 6 instead, damn that thing has a learning curve (offline) got to used to running and gunning in fps. after you get the feel it's like you really contolling a team of a crazy kick ass unit. I'll pick up ressitence i guess next month :P.

Check your Router settings, perhaps you just need to reset your router and password?

tried that. the router says it's connected. everything looks fine just no internet.

If it used to work good before...Do a reset on the router (using reset button)...
If that doesn't solve it...
If its a Linksys router you gonna want to enter the following settings:
(http://www.filehive.com/files/080319/ports.jpg)
IP address being the one you assigned for your PS3... NOT NECESSARILY 192.168.1.108

Enter the IP Address of the router, get the DNS information which can be done by:
Start>Run>cmd>ipconfig/all
You'll see the 2 DNS settings...
Enter this stuff...
And it should work...

well as u know ppl like da cod not me tho it too easy but like i fed up tell ppl wen killzone 2 come out feb no one goin n play cod over it so reserve a copy of cod an if u competitve join my clan (hard luck apprentice had to beat yuh to it lol) oh an well my clan beasts R2 (resistance 2 ) so dem 2 games plus meh love warhawk we beastin, we lookin to start back MGO since i realise recently it not givin problems, i also got SOCOM many of my clan doesn't tho, das it for multiplayer games

gta4 online decent but u wud get fed up after awhile , dat was my 1st online game for d ps3 dat i played.
i doh think buyin cod:w@w for online play now is a good investment with kz2 comin next month.

R2 competitive mp is badass but ur very late my friend i retired from R2 on kz2 now
my clan beasted that religiously too bad ur now coming on d scene
no other trinis here on psn play anything much besides cod so good luck finding ppl to play R2 or any other game for that matter with.

As of right now, I'm working my way through older single player games like darkness, condemned 2 and uncharted 1. Right now I'm playing gta4. I do play fat princess online though. Every time I'm online I think I'm the only one with a headset so I never know if it works or not.

I not sure just yet blu, as usual I would only get stuff that ppl would actually be playing online regularly via mp.
As you would know I'm a pc man so not really sure about the fps thing on console but any mp games you and others on the psn network willing to suggest or investigate??
Note: I aint buying more stuff any time soon, have to recover some funds....

@ everyone my friends list had gotten REL big lol and I had to do a clean out of people I don't talk to on psn/play online with...
So no hard feelings if yuh get "purged" lol. Besides seeing allyuh on GATT, PSNTT anyway :P
@ Redfish.. Most people on ps3 play online shooters..locally thats MW2 and Battlefield BC2. A few play MAG, still play Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2.
Other games people flock the online play for the first few months and then eventually go back to the shooters. So if you want to play with all the locals...you need to buy a fps on console lol. Just approach with a open mind, I was a pc man and the migration from pc to console was pretty easy.
As for non-shooter online games..there's a tonne incoming over the course of the year.. :D

As I said wanna get the gf involved in gaming so gonna get some two player stuff that she would like mainly but I'll see how it goes.

but online is not only local.. so get the games you like

LBP is a pretty good game to play with your girlfriend. As for games, judging from my PSN friends list, most are still playing Modern Warfare 2 regularly lol.
