Title: Married, living apart, and happy
Post by: Saxito Pau on November 04, 2007, 04:43:48 AM
Found this nice two page long article that looks at a couple married 14 years and have never lived together. And they are quite happy with it.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21369007/GT1=10547

Discussion please. Anyone here think they can pull that off?

I'v heard of people pulling it off , i'd think it would have its benefits , not having to be annoyed by each others habits , getting all the punani you need as well ...

But at the same time space means you could be horning the other person alot easier...

Its usually done because they can't afford a house together... both live by their parents/ on campus seperately .

I've tried the long-distance thing...me from Arima, she from Chaguanas, and it didn't work.
The actual geographical distance isn't that much, but it was made long by work, traffic, and  'issues' (gaming).
Not to mention the fact that I absolutely ABHOR Chaguanas.
The time, and the distance, eventually took its toll on that relationship.

So yeah...east/west corridor babes FTW... :happy0203:

When I eloped my wife lived at home by her mom and I by mine. No one knew we were married.

Having said that I prefer to live with her bad habits anyday.  Nuff said

LOL @ Arc long distance :D

Right now I till in Canada, and my wife-to-be still in Trinidad. And things are pretty good with us...it's rough, no doubt, but we get by.

Even when I was in Trinidad, I was livin Arima side and she livin Diego...

arima have endless hot women.. but you don't really find them in arima , they lime everywhere else .

Chag / POS you'd see real nice girls walking the street anyday you pass , arima not so much.

i think if married you should live with your partner i mean if you have children and stuff it would be good to have both parents around.
I also thinks it feels more fulfilling to live with your mate.
