Greetings, folks. I recently picked up GG and I have to admit, it's REALLY cool. When I go to Trincity, I totally pwn with my Chipp and Venom. *Venom voice* NA-EEN BOLL!!!
Granted, my opponents are mostly n00bs but since I'm only 2 weeks old in Guilty Gear, I think that makes it fair. :happy0203: I'm not sure what the differences are between GG X and Accent Core other than an actual Dust button but hopefully I'll have my own copy of Accent Core soon and I can properly acquaint myself.
I was thinking that perhaps a Sunday we should have an Accent Core sweat. I'd love a chance to pit myself against some better players and to see some cool matches. Imperial's got a killer Johnny (He makes Johnny look better than Ukyo, WTF). I also saw a wicked Eddie and a powerful Slayer. I won't be as ill-prepared and as handicapped as before because I've got a KOF 2001 PS2 stick that I'm willing to overwork. :awesome:
How's that sound? No rush, though. It should be a day when a good few ppl are up for it, no matter how long it takes. We could get some food and basically infest Java until fighting time is over. Anybody up for it?

As stated in the other thread, I have exams and will not likely be available before early April. Hope to check you guys then, though by that time I might be neck deep in playing Smash Bros. Brawl online with my RIT crew (but first I have to get a Wii.. *crosses fingers*).

I'm close to finishing my configs on a PS2 emu with the AC ISO so I'll be able to go from GG X to AC soon. I'd still love to make a sweat of it though. Unfortunately, the most I can do for now is play GG X in the mall and acquaint myself with their AC moves through MUGEN. :ko:

DUDES... How about the 30th? The holiday is the next day. I'll have to work that Monday but SMALL TING. What say you? Somebody could walk with the console and game, somebody could organise the food, somebody organise things with Java... HOW BOUT IT FELLAS (and felines, if present :awesome:)?

SO? WTF, they'll want the TV too??? Besides, the last time I was there, the fighters were better behaved than the DOTAmites anyway so as far as I'm concerned, they could HAUL... dammit.

I just want a chance to jump in the ring with some REAL GG guntas. GG X in the mall is only for practice now and there's not much else I can do there. I want more. Even if I crash and burn, at least I took off from a higher level. :banana:

GGXXAC on the 30th? I think I can make this. Exams should be done and I shouldn't be doing anything that day. I too haven't played in months, but meh. I'll bring my PS2 (still not modded, and with SAmurai Shodown Anthology being released IN ENGLISH later this year, I probably won't need to mod it), AC, and my joystick which has been collecting dust since the last time I saw rb.
Slight note to Q: I wouldn't even bother trying to play GGX to prep for GGXXAC. Not even for prctice. They are completely different games. Hell, GGXX and GGX are quite different (to the extent that my crew disliked GGX, but loved GGXX), and GGXXAC itself is a very different beast to its predecessors. It would not only be a huge waste of time, it might actually make the transition to GGXXAC worse. :(

While I share rb's sentiments (lol), I could never say no to genuine fighter's desire (I'm LUVIN it, actually). MvC 2 could fly by me but MAKE NO MISTAKE - GG rules the day (DAGNABBIT).
Of course, I could only speak for me. That's how I feel about it but I'm just one person out of all involved. What say the rest?

Was down south today and walked into the arcade at LaPique plaza for old times sake.
Coins @ $1.50 an hour (pretty cheap compared to movietowne's $4.00) and they had pretty much every fighting game there. From Soul Calibur 3, to the normal range of street fighters to Tekken 5.
Bought 2 coins and beat out some noobs in T5. Got up to 7wins before losing the 1st coin.
Ah the good old days.

I'm coming. I'll bring my PS2 (not modded), GGAC, and my stick. Not planning to bring anything else.
GGAC+? Who the hell wants to play that? Nobody cares about story mode, and nobody seriously uses Justice and Kliff, do they? :p
Query: Er, what time are we meeting? I have to drop my father-in-law to the airport EARLY in the morning, which means I'll need time to come back home and sleep, since there's no way I'll be going to sleep early Saturday night. 1:00 PM should be good for me.

Well I just got back from the fight, had a point where I thought he would've lost due to the bullshit officiating, but he won in the end after about 3 mins by submission. I had to leave as the match finished. While typing this he just called to find out where the hell I was in the arena.

I can't remember the last time I got enraged by a single move as much as Johnny's j.K. When did Arc System Works take CvS2 Sagat's CROUCHING FIERCE hit box and give it to Johnny's j.K? >:|
Speaking of next time, I'm probably not going to be available again until mid May, even though my exams are over. Still have other things on my plate. :|

I must say I did enjoy that ex3 sweat....until Imperial came back...
GG was good as usual..to much dropped combos and stuff from both sides though. It really is fun annoying the hell out of Imperial :D

I was cool either way. I never did have much exposure to EX3. You were surprisingly GREAT at SF. *I honestly never pegged you as an SF player.* Awesome. Good show.
After you left, there was some SF3 as well. It IS fun watching Imperial go nuts. :awesome:
I'll try to make it to Sando early on Saturday. There may be some MvC in the afternoon in Chaguanas too.

Sounds okay to me. I'm having an online meeting at around 8, 9-ish on that day, so I may have to bolt early. Hopefully, I can learn enough about the game to be more competitive.

sweat rarely goes that late anyway, I usually leave at 6-7ish. Should be fun. Who do you use NEO ? Is it still Millia ? I picked her up recently I could probably give you some tips.

Just letting you'll know that I have been extremely busy of late. It's getting ridiculous now.
I also now have a Wii and Smash Bros Brawl. What little free time I have has just been cut into considerably. If you want me for anything, you need to give me two weeks advance now. ^_^
