Okay!
Once a month I will be posting up ONE TITLE.....on PS3, 360 and....WOW! even Wii that i will giveaway a points card to someone who makes the most kills, points, wins....whatever in a title
It goes as follows
1. 1400 MS points to a game of MY choice. It could be HALO 3, UT3, SF4...whatever...usually a title that is popular
2. 20 dollar PS card to a PS gamer. This would be RARE!!!!! given that the PS community that I HAVE...is all over the place. One guy is busy on Killzone, another on Rock Band....next one on SF4. Whatever. Ill post as needed
3. Wii ppl....i will post on GATT...MOST LIKELY its Mario Kart or BRAWL....since thats about all you have. Dont tell me COD 4 or ....whatever that excuse for an FPS you guys play online. Honestly, that doesnt qualify....i mean....seriously.
This weekend the new title will be posted. SO you can keep updated. The winner gets a card (I will give them the code info) to get their points and download or get wtf ever they like. Once a month...u get free points! OMG! FREE !!! GO GO GO!!! :P
I dont care what console you like, what you "feel" people should play....how the breeze does blow, little f*cing angels dancing round your head, all your 50 or 100 friends that will have NO EFFECT on the videogame industry thinks, if channa should come before bara....I.....DONT....CARE. is my 20 dollars...i choose. End of story. Winner takes all.

Ok, so Shiv, can you layout the specifics, since there is no tournament mode yet, I guess it'll be a party created. How are we scoring this? Details please?
Perhaps each participant should post on here, you can maintain the list of competitors so we know who partying up and hopefully everyone sees this post in time for tomorrow...

CODE OF CONDUCT
I will be keeping tabs via LIVE from the players (i know LIVE men is decent people....alyuh true to the word)
Anyone caught lying (and i expect the loosing side to call the right call as much as the winning side) is immediately disqualified and removed from ANY other tournaments I put up involving these point giveaways, no second chances here.
Nothing wrong with ole talk during a match, but keep it professional. Anyone found acting assinine or cussing another person out in an uneducated manner is ejected from the tournament and removed from any further ones.
Any reference to the following can just see any LIVE matches you have played with me and together and you have an idea. I tolerate just about anything since its all in good fun and people happy. Enjoy yourself! Consider it a "Sweat with incentive" lime rather than a tournament
REQUIREMENTS

1. Ill take everyones names in the game room and have their names in my very leet Manchester United (Crixx hol yuh a55) hat.
2. I will randomly pull mens name out of the hat and you will fight. This is not a knockout tournament, i want to keep the game going without people getting bored and leaving.
3. The winner will callout on LIVE and i will mark the win next to the name i have on a spreadsheet i made up.
4. Whoever gets the MOST WINS after THREE HOURS will get the 1600 MS points card!
5. Connection issues! If people are getting d/c or lag in a match it will be stopped. The SAME pair will face DIFFERENT opponents for a hopefully better connection.

Yeah boy my connection was selling a special type of guns ever since the upgrade. Only smoothe matches were vs agokillya and killa, everything else was a framefest, things real bad when shiva beating me oui... Is not everyday u get to see a dragonpunch animated at 1frame per second.

the tstt to flow does always be sour..like 2 bars...is just tha rb tstt a lil more special than most...but tstt to tstt is 4 bars..and i was getting like 2 or 3 to shiv and it wasnt really laggy or anything

Problem is i dont know too many Wii gamers out there that are ONLINE :(
The goal is to have at LEAST 8 people. Since the wii has no chat of any kind we are going to have to use a peripheral setup...MSN most likely. Invite everyone into a chatroom and we can keep track of wins and losses.

Friday the tournament mode should be up on SF4. This means a new giveaway is in effect!
This is still pending.....because the time of release of this mode is not official. We just know its friday.
20 dollar giveaway on PSN and 1600 MS card giveaway on 360 THIS FRIDAY....if all goes well.......Street Fighter 4 crew we calling you.
I will put up more rules. Have to make some changes. People who have won the SAME game and points with MY competition have to
1. Skip this competition on THAT console (if you are on another it is fine)
2. You can however participate in the next tournament OTHER than the game you won on that console previously.

To make things a little smoother im going to post up the rules for this sweat.
1. This is more of a sweat than a competition. It is NOT a knockout. I want everyone to peung till their time is up and the person who gets the code will be the one with the most wins after THREE hours.
2. If you have WON a previous "shivadee competition" before from a game on THAT platform you CANNOT join another competition on THAT game for THAT platform this time around. If you have it on another console or the same game is held there, thats fine. to clarify Sokatsu cannot play on 360 SF4 this rounds (as he won the last one) but can go on PS3 SF4, Slysuki is welcome to join anyone he wants since he was the KZ2 winner.
3. The session starts at 8pm trini time. The sooner you reach the sooner you can start the sooner you can rackup wins.
4. I will be managing the 360 competition as of now. I will determine who will be managing the PS3 competition later this week. You can contact me via my live tag ''shivad33'' on 360 and let me know if you are in the competition. PSN fellas can contact kaizen and myself and send him your info. Also you MUST add me to your PSN or LIVE list if you want to be in this. PSN id is finalb00st (two zeros btw) - need to add your name to the roster.
5. At the end of the 3 hours men will be 1) happy, 2) real tite, 3) real talking sh!t.....either way we having fun. If i get information about ANYONE acting "ah-how" you are PERMANENTLY ejected from these tournaments. You can pelt your @ttitude somewhere else because I dont do that here. Complaints are fine, ole talk is fine. Just know your bounds and dont offend people.
6. The winner is to message me on LIVE or PSN along with the person I have in charge of the LIVE (myself) and PSN (whom i choose) event to justify their win. I will then send the person via the PSN or LIVE network their code for their 1600 points and 20 dollar card info.
Something to add. I couldnt care less for a tournament, this is an experiment, and you are all part of it :D (actually this is part of my thesis for my masters). So have fun, and I want feedback on the GATT forums on how this went.

SF4 Tournament mode:
The tournaments offer a new take on classic SFIV competition. They are broken out into 5 different levels, which means everyone can participate and find a good challenge without getting blown out of the water or bored. You score Grade Points (GP) for tournament wins, and as your GP total grows, you’ll become eligible to enter into more exclusive tournaments. Winning tournaments will also net you Championship Points (CP). The CP work basically like “prize money” up for grabs in the tournament. The higher the GP skill of the players in a particular tournament, the bigger the CP prize!
In true tournament tradition, character selection is double-blind. With the CP purse on the line, you won't be able to see who your opponent has picked until you've both made your choices, and the battle is set to begin.
The tournaments are run according to a standard type of single-elimination bracket, but your opponents are generated dynamically. This means the matching system will automatically match you with a player of your skill level participating in that tournament type, so you don’t have to wait around. Since the tournaments are already seeded by player strength, you’re assured quality opponents at your same skill level, as fast as possible. If you can advance through the rounds to take a top placing, you’ll score GP and CP. As your points increase, you’re eligible for tournaments with increasingly strong opponents.
--SG Championship (SUPER GRADE): 5 rounds long. The highest grade championship in which only top players can participate.
--G1 Championship (GRADE 1):５ rounds long, for advanced players
--G2 Championship (GRADE2 2): 4 rounds long, for intermediate players
--G3 Championship (GRADE3) 3 rounds long, for beginners
--FREE Championship (Free Grade): 4 rounds long, open to anyone regardless of their level.
The tournament system is set up to reward you for participating. At G3, you actually score a point even if you get knocked out in your very first match. At G2, you don’t gain points for a first-round loss, but don’t lose any either. Similarly, you never lose points by participating in the FREE rank tournaments. Only in the top G1 and SG tournaments is it possible to lose GP, and even then you only ever lose 5 points for a first-round loss.
One of the best things about the new mode is that can play in tournaments in just the same way you can use the “arcade request” feature, so you’re free to play in arcade mode while waiting for your next tournament challenger, who will be chosen automatically based on your rank.
Last, but most certainly not least, disconnecters, aka pullers, aka ragequitters, your days are numbered: If you disconnect during a match, the system will also dock you your progress in the tournament, so pullers will never be able to advance into the higher ranks of tournaments. What’s even more fun is that the system also happily displays your disconnect percentage, so if you've got a bad habit, it's right there for everyone to see.
WE shall be using the FREE GRADE championship because we arent ranking players, just random matchups. The prize in this case has nothing to do with what the game itself is offering. If this DOES NOT WORK. we need to come up with a contingency plan. We will have to do a manual matchup system to get this going. Meaning those in charge will have to do random pulls and call out random matchups. Anyone with info on if we can restrict this competition to those signed up alone please post info.

Im designing a setup for the PS3 people for this tourney. I think we are going to need to have a text chat running for this since the championship mode doesnt seem to allow the players to create their own matchups but rather compete in an online tournament with everyone.
What I am going to do is have a setup like i did for the 360 with some changes advised by rb and noob
1. Have a round robin system where everyone plays each other - there is no knockout.
2. There will be a best of 3 match setup per game with whom you play.
This is important. Fellas i NEED PEOPLE to message me TODAY on PSN and LIVE and let me know if you are in this or not. I havent gotten one damn message. If i dont get at least 8 members per console by tomorrow I am canceling this event.
I eh care if yuh hadda feed yuh dog, yuh agee want to make bhagie burgers, doubles drop to 50 cents, KFC have free giveaway, the maxi taxi had a BESS song playing and yuh juss HAD to keep going, yuh see this girl yuh eh talk to in 3 years....yuh get the point. All those attending send in your requests so I can makeup a roster.
Doing this manually is a pain in the ass, so the sooner you send in your stuff the less downtime we have for playing and the more chances you have of winning.

that mode doesnt seem to allow what we are looking for. We are doing a round robin mode. No knockouts just constant gaming for 3 hours and the most wins gets the card. Still dont have enough ppl on LIVE and PS3 msg'ing me to have this :(

An announcement to make. I have 5 people on LIVE and 6 on PSN. If i dont have at LEAST 8 fellas in the next couple hours msg me on either console, i will cancel the event on whichever console does not have a minimum of 8 people.
We tried this already. With even 6 people this event gets boring after a while because of the lack of numbers. I dont do "last minuite" people, although that is how trini's roll.
