Blessings fellas i have my own Call Of Duty 4 server i want it for locals only i have it as a mod server i jus add on new airstrikes and other things that maybe more fun than the normal game ... My ISP is Flow Witch is the best in the country right now blink men mite ge real lagging problems so it is in your hands to try ... so this is my IP --->190.213.57.57:28961 <---- server running 24/7

You should have been here about 6 months ago, COD4 sweatage was hot and heavy on a weekend.

So I tried connecting to the server but when come time to download maps, it just stays there at 0 bytes and does nothing. Obviously this is a giant spoke in the gaming wheel...

^^Same thing happened to me this evening with my attempt.....
The server is only up at certain times or something??

Well is only after reading your post properly i realised u put links to the maps to be downloaded manually, hence the reason I remved my post...so no worries.
So later when I get a chance later i'll load up the maps and see what's what.

Downloaded the maps and looked for a folder called usermaps in the cod4 folder...no such folder exists. There IS such a folder for cod waw, but that folder is located in the appdata folder in your local user profile (for the vista/win7 users). IT would have been helpful if you specified where the folder could be found for the unitiated...but I digress...
There's no usermaps folder for cod4 as far as I could see. There is a folder located in COD4\zone\english that seems to contain all the game's maps, though.
In any case, the map that the game tries to download is not any of the ones you posted download links to.
So maybe before inviting peeps to join, you might want to have things operational, aite 'father'.

Currently trying to connect, at the moment the mod files are being downloaded. Will see what happens...

Had a decent mini sweat, competish wasnt half bad...Only complaint is that whoever was in control was switching the maps at will. That was NOT cool, just shows poor sportsmanship.

Hmmmm...seems like I was permanently banned from this server as of 5 minutes ago.
I would hereby like to denounce the operators of this COD4 server/clan as level 6 spineless fcuktards who cannot stand to take licks like big men. A big screw u goes out to groff and his crew of flunkies.

Unfortunately, Im very serious.
Right now if I try to connect, I get "You have been permanently banned from this server" but initially I was connected long enough to see groff in the server.
I'd encourage our members to leave them out as they know NOTHING about good sportsmanship and should be shot in the face with a redeemer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwzrTKH9f_E)
I play regularly on a server called QuagmireLovesHack and frequently beat out the admin there and i've always been praised for skill and never once kicked.
Them men is lil boys though and I not on that. I'll take my gaming elsewhere thankooverymuch.
