Dow2 continues to impress me with their spit and polish of this awesome RTS game.
I present to you, for scrutiny, 1v1 statistics.
Will continue to add all regional players as they present themselves so that is can serve as an official leaderboard for dow 2 players.

lol, Cereal_Killer, what would you rather we use to judge a man's skill? His age?
TrueSkill is better than nothing. It's a best estimate at a person's current skill level, relevant to other DoW2 players.
Just like Battle Points in Street Fighter IV. Sure, you get the odd low rank guy with crazy skillz now making his way up the ladder but as a rule of thumb, a 4000+ BP player is going to whoop the ass of one on 1000.
I've beat Talicon22 once. He beat me three times though. The man is deserving of his TrueSkill 17 rating.
Turney on the other hand, he ain't ever going to beat me with his lowly Level 8 self (waits to eat words, lol)

Yeah, orks can be a problem.
Cross plays orks too. We played three games thus far. He won 2, and I one.
Pressure with those green mcs. Their early game power harassment is real stress.
Tradewinds is an Eldar player. Going to sweat him today.

would you recommend this game to someone who like Warcraft III or is it a totally different experience?

If you are into RTS games then you definitely don't want to miss this one.
It is similar to wc3 in that you have heroes playing a pivotal role in the battle.
It is different in that their isn't any resource gathering units. No "worker" class.
Strictly offense. Battle from the start of the game till the end. No base building, very little construction at all (just power generators and the odd turret if you're a tech marine)
Also, units can take cover and be garrisoned. Taking up positions in buildings for added protection and advantage. (you can blast them out with grenades and plasma though).
Think those are the main deviations.
If you loved the "economy" aspect of RTS, this may not be your cup of tea as it has little in the way of eco development. If you're into a more offensive RTS experience, then DOW2 is highly recommended.
Plays like Chess on steroids.
