So i was looking around and thinking about investing in a proper keyboard to play with instead of destroying W1nTry's poor wireless one (can't even read the WASD keys anymore lol). Unfortunately Newegg had a sale on the Logitech G110 and sold out before i cud grab one. Found some alternatives though for a good price. I don't a 100 US+ keyboard to play game. Jus looking for durability an comfort. So i found these. Anyone have any experience with them?
Cyborg V.5 Keyboard

Razer Arctosa Gaming Keyboard

both look good but my money would go on the Cyborg!
-
For the price I would get this one

The Arctosa if you decide to go with it make sure and get silver because on the black ....the letters on the keys are black
so they would be very hard to see... the sidewinder is the better choice value-wise tho imo ..... plus it has backlit keys :awesome:

Was actually looking at that one as well too. The deterrence was the word "Microsoft" in front of it lol. I'll give it some more time before i decided. Some other options or reviews on the presented may help as well
-
lol that "microsoft" is a very good thing ..... just look through the reviews on amazon
but be careful some of the low stars reviews are comparing it to keyboards that are twice the price ....
I wanted to get either this or the X6 but at the time they were both out of stock cuz they sell out pretty fast
that's how I ended up getting the logitech wave 550 was the only option in stock at the time this was 2 weeks ago ...
they got them back in stock last week Thursday and they were gone by Saturday to give u an idea how fast they move
-
were the keyboard's the X4 and X6 or different ones ? cause I know some guys that have them and
I've used both about just over a year old and they both haven't given any problems build quality is good too
anyway I was also considering this from Logitech @ the time as well but I wasn't spending over $50 for a keyboard

Edit forgot the link : http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-920-002232-Gaming-Keyboard-G110/dp/B002RRLQIO

yea their OLDER multimedia and some of the wireless ones... for lack of a better word are b@ll$
but the sidewinders are really good build an functionality wise
-
Microsoft keyboard/mice are the worst. I had 3 mice and they went out in a year. The keyboards started giving problems as well.
Logitech or any other brand ftw.
I beg to differ. The MS Sidewinder X8 mouse is one of the best wireless mice I have ever used.
I'm sure that X4 keyboard will work well.
That said though, I'm kinda partial to Logitech myself. :happy0203:
The G15 V2 cannot be beat.
Sadly, I was informed that it's been discontinued.

based on my experience with the Zboard (now Steel Series Shift), I'm thinking about upgrading to the Merc Keyboard:

It's a bit longer than standard but having the dedicaed keys and over 100 preprogrammed gaming profiles is worth it to me
-
Bit out of my willingness to spend range.
-
How that madcatz so cheap boy??
At that price, I'd be willing to take a chance.
My dream keyboard would be the G15 or G19
swear by logitech but as virtue said, those are a bit beyond "comfortable" spending range.
-
...but you're paying for that Logitech quality, and because it's a 'G-series' product, you know that it's built to last.
My original V1 G15 worked like a charm for YEARS, and I only retired it because the backlighting started failing.
Other than that, it still works. You don't have to break the bank though. The G510 is supposed to be the G15's replacement,
and the G110 is basically the same as the 510, but without the LCD.
-
TBH the best keyboard ever, is the g15 you get for $250 TT after Wyatt takes his time being distracted by nick-nacks
-
Lol Mez. Never gonna let an opportunity to bring that up slip by are you?
The G110 was on sale for like $40 US and i missed it =(
I still have some time though to decide but thats for the options guys. As i said, want something that's good but not too pricey. I really did have it out with W1nTry's poor keyboard. As well as it works and as comfortable as it is, it aint mine lol
-
If you are buying the arcosta sure it works just fine for me stay clear of the lycosa though I've had one and had to put it down in 7 months or so, don't know much about the cyborg.
Some one linked you this earlier

I think this would be a safe bet or the logitech g110 but that's a little more than the desired price.
In the end remember as well it's also how much you take care of the peripherals but the x4 and arcosta are fine choices.

seriously save your money for the while and get a mechanical keyboard...it's worth it.
even if it's not one like mysterio and me (steelseries 6gv2)
mechanicals are the way to go and they last 10 times longer than any other type of board.
some brands to check out: zowie, steelseries, thermaltake

As much as i would love one, i really can't see myself spending that much money on a keyboard. Money like that goes into a GPU or CPU. I also don't think i play enough game to warrant a mech keyboard. For you and mysterio i can understand using one, id hate to be a normal keyboard and gettin the kinda activity a SC2 player can put out. Thanks tho. Maybe later down the road.. but by that time we might be using digital keyboard for gaming, who knows
