Not bad at all aside from Supernatural the only show I watch on CW I might just have to check this out. Also they pairing them on the same night.

MEH! I would have watched it if the just continued with Justin Hartley after smallville or something. Why reboot when we already have an established character.

They already had that version for years on tv and just wanted a different take. I have no problem, this looks like it has a more serious tone which I dig.

Continuing with Hartley might only make people expect other Smallville faces to turn up in the show, which could be disappointing since this isn't a Smallville spin-off. No point in getting the same guy to play very different versions of the same character on two entirely separate shows.
On the other hand it is a bit strange that they'd bring out this show when they've only just finished airing a show with Oliver Queen as a major character.

To focus mainly on him I would guess and seeing as Smallville ended a while back people would be familiar with him. They are probably hoping to draw in new viewers too.

Pilot was solid. Did not waste anytime getting into the action which was quite brutal, people died making it clear he ain't no Batman. Speaking of Batman some scenes looked as if they were snipped from Batman Begins (not a complaint, just an observation). Seems to be taking a lot from Green Arrow: Year One. In short a comic book series done right only gripe Stephen Amell has to work on his playboy persona a bit more which is weird because in the flashbacks he was doing it easily.
A lot DC heroes and Villians have been confirmed to appear in the series among them Huntress, Deadshot and Deathstroke himself
Wow, the quality of this show has certainly gone up a few notches. This premiere was perfect imo (pacing, visuals, action scenes) and nobody saw that ending coming......damn.

My god that ending. The utter disbelief in my eyes when it happened. I thought flash ending was shocking but arrow's is just on another level of crazy. #bestshowontv

So given that ending it's no surprise the Arrow suit will be hung up but judging from how bright and cheery that finale ending was it all points to him using the actual new persona of Green Arrow which will mean new costume with full works etc. It was also revealed the show would have a lighter tone starting with season 4.
