I take it this new trailer, along with the Spider Man and Transformers ones debuted during the Super Bowl?

All three movies look bloody good.  2014 looking up.

What was wrong with Thor 2 though?

It was a step up from the first movie but I found it still lacking overall (minus Loki and some action scenes lol)

IMHO
Iron Man 3 had brilliant visuals, but it was way too comical and it didn't strike a good balance between comedy and action as the first did and don't talk about that awful plot twist ..."barf"

Thor The Dark World was decent but you're right didn't have the same punch or "wow factor" as the first.

Captain America looks really awesome though. Looking forward to seeing the fight between him and the character played by Georges St.Pierre

and of course more scarlett johansson to gape at  :sassy:

Anyone else saw it?

I think this is one of Marvel's best, right up there with Avengers.
The CQC with Cap and Winter Soldier were downright amazing. Hell, pretty much all the action sequences were near flawless.
Have to take this in again at the imax.

This show was comic book movie perfection.

Sets a new standard yes. Avengers is history now. this is the new benchmark.

Solid 10/10. Imax or bust.

Vex i didnt stay back to see credits...

Took it in today,  was decent. I just have one issue with ALL of these comic adaptations of late...  Collateral damage. They kill off ppl like it's nazis with a titan in a Jewish settlement,  and NO ONE bats an eyelash...  The movies only focus on the main characters with no consequences or remorse for the thousands of dead...  For me it completely cheapens the story.

As much as I hear you, I somewhat disagree. In Avengers, they had an actual body count.
*Granted, it was a segue into a "Loki's adopted" joke, there still was a count, lol.

A body count doesn't give much gravity to the loss. In ALL of these modern day super hero movies they barely bat a eye at the about of dead. One of the key points of a superhero vs a villain is what they are fighting for,  in the case of characters like captain America it's for the 'free'  citizens of the US/world. However if the main characters show little remorse/sadness for the casual mass killing of civilians and bystanders then what are they really fighting for?  Even in the original X-men there is an emphasis on the desire for peace with normal folk as well as the desire to not harm humans unnecessarily. In these more recent films is just about the emotional significance of a VERY select few that literally don't care about the 'extras'
