People trinidad is on official storm watch, stay indoors unless media and protective services... pressure but sensei aint mind and i know alot of u dont either

Well, for starters we're no longer on a storm watch, we're on a hurricane watch.

What the heck are you guys talking about?
Don't you know that playing outdoors in the middle of a hurricane is the greatest thrill you could ever have?! Sheesh. Apparently, I'm the only one who knows how to have a good time around here! :)

Man, Trinidad full of crap when it ready. I expecting a catorgory 3 hurricane and what it does it misses us leaving us with mere showers. OMG lets close down the ENTIRE COUNTRY BECAUSE OF RAIN!!!!!!!! The worst I have heard of this is some power lines and trees fell down. Those poor trees :(  how could they!!!!

We're probably going to be getting a lot of rain overnight and maybe some stronger breeze than now...we'll get the backlash. Tobago got the brunt of it, there's some damage over there...for here in Trinidad I'm more expecting flooding depending on how much rain we get tonight.

I'd say we got lucky again...when that thing turned south I was expecting to get it pretty hard.

Oh lord. I really wanted this thing to hit us. AWW. Another hurricane bites the dust. lol. Well at least we get the heavy rainfall. But ya'll Don't mind me. I just love bad things to happen. lol. Lucky Tobago. I should live there. lol. I should go get my covers cuz its gonna be cold tonight hehe.

I'm not all smart with the geography and all that but...

wouldnt the northern range decrease the power of the wind alot? since the  hurricane came from teh north, i wud still expect the mountains to take one for the team

I'm just praying it doesn't hit on Sunday.
Sunday's my last exam date, and if a hurricane hits, I don't know what the FUDGE I'm going to do. Except go outside and play, of course. :)

me and my big mouth flood in my bridge and drive way ....all my life i have never got flood by my house but now i did ..i think the river broke the bank in a different place or something....last night within 20mins water just came rushing and flood out the drains and into homes .....you can actually see the water riseing....anyhow ...i am home cant go to work :)

de sad ting is we too complacent...i did know dat no storm was goin and hit so i was never concerned...dat monday night i went in de cinema all kinda ting...durin d day i was goin and go in de arcade but i hear it was closed(which means odders like me went out to check d arcade all kinda ting)

Not that the mountains take the wind...it's just that the hurricane would take the easiest path it can...so mountains against sea, i think it would take the sea :P.

It's a Category 5, and I REAL SORRY for Jamaica now :(...

When was the last time a hurricane hit Trinidad?  Don't tell me Flora, that hit Tobago!  Seriously though, anyone know?  I think there was one in '72 or '73 that hit Cedros, but I'm not sure.
