i am a naruto fan -- not yet a naruto freak
i am learning the byakugan and i already apply the sharingan to all my programming projects
i mentally call my professors sensei and i dont have a demon fox but i have a demon something thats quite subdued. maybe i should unleash it again ... evil grin :)

in all that i forgot to remember samaurai x... the man was badd, but now that he dead i kinda forget about he yes...
why naruto rocks? there are more characters not just kenshin... we wanna see fuzzy eyebrows get on, sasuke, naruto, kakashi. we wanna see everyone rock -- and then try them seals out in the yard.
what i cant take is filler -- stares, birds flying, recaps ... :( *cries* but filler gives the stuff body. besides the crayon to draw all the smoke does run out so they does need filler to restock it ;)

Currently NARUTO!!! "HAREM NO JUTSU" (multiple sexy no jutsu), prev it was Inu Yasha (but I couldn't get any new episdoes) and before that samurai X. Macross, Gundam, and Robotech also are up there.... :rolleyes:

alright....everybody only saying how naruto is a real BAD anime....i think this is because naruto is FRESH and NEW to all the people who have seen it and well the people who making it, only reveal what is known of the chars by the episodes......over the years this is how anime has been portrayed and the themes they use......i think that people get to caught up in the new they forget the old,classical animes that came before them,from which new animes are born with a twist.......in that my favourite animes are;
(1) Tecknoman(for those who have seen it from beginning to the end,they will have felt the same feeling as those who have seen ruronshi kenshin(i spelt it wrong i know) and others which i cah remember the name to...
(2) Naruto(only because it NEW and FRESH and i cant seem to remember any other anime cause this over cloud it )

rurouni was great, not the american dubbed version, that sucked trinithereturnofgames or watever
buh the show was muy excellent from the stance of excellent sword play
well atleast shinta did, kenshin was a lil beach
scrapped princess is so cool, wonderful animation, awesome story line
and fighting to protect their cute little sister ^_^, real points for that

princess mononoke and spirited away was cool very sunday-morning-catchin-d-itis kinda vibe.
About Naruto being fresh, no matter how fresh it is if it bad it bad. Naruto have some of the dreadest fightin and dialouge i have seen in a while. I was gettin fed up so men firing 10000 punches a second or a man movin at the speed of sound lettin go one blow to end it all. The sannin war is the best way to sum it up, just plain gorgeous fightin with a dread story

Favourite is GunGrave, in terms of story development character development. In terms of action Samurai Deeper Kyo, and new favourite is Kyou Kara Maou, recent favourite Ikkitousen(just finished downloading the series) favourite mecha Gasaraki and Zone Of The Enders Ova.

Well, let's see.
The Project A-Ko series has stood out for me as the best (the first, however, was THE best, 3 and 4 were garbage on a stick, until Blue Side and Grey Side redeemed it for me) for quite some time.
The 'fad' animes were good too (Pokemon (up to the Orange League), Digimon (4th season), Yu-Gi-Oh (up until the end of Battle City) and GX).
El-Hazard is pretty awesome in its own right (the audience comments in the Comicon where I saw it made me laugh).
I'll tell you one thing I'll never, EVER be, though.
A Naru-tard. Heck, NO. It may go good, but it's not the best I've seen.
No, it's not because of the damn jumpsuit, either.

i couldn't get into naruto too, i guess it's because it have like 100+ episodes, that's alot of catching up. I think pokemon was great up to the point of them adding new ones (can't remeember the exact season or name). but after that i lost interest. but i remember how big that pokemon thing was real big.

Well, Pokemon (the show) fell out of favour with me when the whole formula of the show turned into one repetitive mess, only to result in Ash losing like a complete numbnuts when he had us on a cliffhanger for X number of months.
I did gain a little interest when I saw the sneak preview for Pokemon: Advanced, but got extremely P.O.ed when it turns out that it's the same crap, with May filling in for Misty (who eventually came back). Chronicles redeems the series a little bit, since it doesn't focus on Ash, Pikachu or those Team Rocket losers.
All in all, I despise that show now for not ending when it should have. Even Yu-Gi-Oh! ended while the getting's good (the first set of characters, I mean.)

Heck, no. I don't like it as much because the show's not all it's cracked up to be. To me, anyway. Also, some of the fans tend to be severe retards about it, at times. Can't tell you how many times I've said 'Well, you know....not such a big fan of Naruto.', only to hear:
"OMG! IT'S THE BRIGHT ORANGE JUMPSUIT, ISN'T IT?!"
...not to mention the fact that everybody who's nuts about Naruto thinks they're instant Hokages that can pull " (insert word here) no jutsu!" s out of their buttocks. It's like watching the most blatant case of wapanese unfold before your eyes, really, which tends to get annoying really, REALLY fast.
Just for the record, Naruto's okay with me. I don't have any severe 'I HATE THIS CRAP!!!' notion about it, nor do I have some ridiculous 'I hate it because it's popular' notion about it, either. I just can't stand the severe over-hype of the show. I'm not alone in thinking so, either, by the way.

i only seen episode 1 of the ova. and there's only 5 i believe (could be wrong) and it jus seemed to condense the episodes and stay true to the manga it came from. rather than add on to the story
