let me know when you want to take a sweat tho, cause of the matchmaking system, a lv 6 and a lvl 25 can't pair up for a normal game, a tweak that was made to prevent the "feeder/carry" thing, which is why i made a lvl 1 account incase. the ign for that one is TriniSTYLE if interested.

I play LoL. IGN: Pandx Level 22 summoner atm. @ The DotA and HoN comparisons: LoL is a bit more fast paced than DotA, I've never played hon so can't comment on that. Ranked games are insanely competitive, I've played a couple on a friend's account before, Ventrilo/skype/teamspeak are simply mandatory if you intend to do well there, VERY few people enter ranked games in the Solo queue (i.e regular matchmaking with no prior organization or coordination if no one knew). But back to the point, in terms of overall competitiveness, League of Legends has it all, but again I've never played HoN so I can't draw any comparisons to that, but the game is really good I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't looking for "just another RTS". The Development team is also pretty active and are always working behind the scenes to bring as much balance and content to the game as they can. Another thing is that every single member of your team is equally important at every single point in a match, if you have a leaver, 98% of the time you WILL lose, no matter how good you are. Their matchmaking system has also been tweaked to negate the "carry/feeder" effect. Been a long time since i came on these forums, wonder if anyone remembers me

The Wii is fun for the first few months, and then nobody plays it anymore..sad
I think everyone here knows that the Wii's strength doesn't lie in the online components of its games, writing that out makes me feel that we've been through this time and time again, which is true. Being a 360 fan and all, I guess opinions like those are biased because you love your 360 so much, I don't blame you, that console is awesome as ****, but hey go easy on its competitors. yea well mario Kart has died Proof or it never happened. and Smash brothers Brawl, I notice nobody on here calls for sweats anymore..the Wii is so Online handicapped...no voice chat, no easy way to send messages in game...it's just so...DSish....
So...the fact that the GATT Wii owners no longer post challenges, friend codes (with a few exceptions) and whatnot, means that they don't play anymore...?
Conduit, the new FPS looks promising, but if it is as slow as metroid then I'm going to pass on that. It has online multiplayer and nice HL2-esque weapons tho. Metroid started great but I got bored of it cuz of how slow samus moves and shoots and all that. Lol COD4 spoiled me.
Currently the only thing that has me holding on to my wii is Tales of Symphonia 2. Hopefully by the time I get that, play and finish it there will be more on the table, but I'm not holding my breath. Fingers crossed for Golden Sun 3 before the wii's death, and that doesn't seem likely with attitudes like this:

Lol just so you know, Metroid was never known to be a fast-paced FPS, it's not even an FPS ;P So I don't think it'll be right to compare Conduit with Metroid, they're two different genres....err..games. ToS 2...I'd really love to pick that one up, but I hear it wasn't received very well. :/ Golden Sun 3...would be THE best RPG of the mc year if it ever comes out, but, only if it's as good as the first 2. So i played GoW 2 today and i must say, IT IS AMAZING!!! Redlum, I have a feeling allyuh will like this one much more cuz it requires so much teamwork and no longer has active 1 shot snipe  . U can get headshots with any weapon now including the torque bow (which is somehow more satisfying than the sniper cuz u get to watch their head explode into a trillion pieces)

I can't offer any advice atm, but...
Mine is working fine.
Weather Channel still displays the current weather, same with the News Channel and the news.
I tried Mario Kart Wii, I was able to connect to WFC through the channel and the game itself, Super Smash Bros. Brawl also seems to be working. Pokemon(to all you haters: yes pokemon, stfu) Battle Revolution still had the random disconnections...normal thing as far as I know. It maybe your firewall blocking connections with WFC .-.

its all 3 (PS3, X360 & PC even some Wii games) GameBattles is the largest site for online compitetion just check out the site for yuhself its really good they do everything on EVERY online mulitplayer game (signin up for Socom & Killzone 2 as soon as those 2 games come out)
About the Wii part....all I know is that they offer Brawl....so seeing I can't go into a league for Brawl because of my.....disc issues....do they offer anything else? I'd check it myself but the site won't come up on this comp, will try again later. P.S EmpireKing... wrong answer

xD  Ok so, I've met a term in this thread that i am not familiar with, "Screen tearing". What is this exactly? And not to jump on anyone here, but a lot of people DID say that the game certainly has less issues on PS3 when compared with the Xbox 360 version. Also, it has been stated that there are less movable parts of the evironment in the Wii version so it eliminates most of the lock-on problems found on its HD counterparts. I will confirm this myself, getting it later this month. Another thing, Lucasarts was indeed a little pissed at Nintendo for revealing the motion plus so late in TFU's development. "Dear Lucasarts, We are a wealthy company and we do not CARE that we revealed this without your knowledge, we're gonna be making more profit than you by the end of the year, settle down, you are implementing the MP into the clone wars game. I repeat, we are RICH. F**k you. Sincerely, Your friends at Nintendo." This is what I believe went on here D= Which brings up another thing, the Clone Wars game...another story eh?

 Yes, well i've read that most reviewers say the implementation of the motion-sensor light saber combat as well as force gestures are almost flawless, I want to hear this from a Trini's point of view too, not just the controls but all other aspects as well ( don't even talk about the in-game cutscenes :x That's something I can live without :O) *waits for continued discussion on SW STFU* I miss the original voices...

Ok, since it's the TFU thread I'm going to just go ahead and ask if the game is any good on Wii?
IGN rated the Wii version the highest, despite it's unpredictable camera, cinematics that don't even hold up against some GC titles, although I heard the actual gameplay does look better, and the six hour long story :/
GameSpot did quite the opposite lol so I don't really need to go there right?
So if anyone has played it on Wii, please let me know if it's any good.
