actually this time the firmware update caused the reason for rma lol.. my drive was listed as needed the update based on my serial number from seagate so i did update ..... then all the problems started hapening bad sectors an so on . the day before i did the update i did a full scan with seatools an no errors ... was not having problems with drive before update. actually if you google you will see the firmware breaks alot of the older drives so is not just me alone .... shoulda google that before lol

an about the 1TB . i went the 640 cause its 2 platters as apposed to 3 on the 1TB an i wont really want to rely on a big hdd rather few smallers ones :D

have you tried updating the firmware of the 7200.11 drive? I hear that sometimes that can "fix" a problematic drive

You do know you can get a 1TB for less than US$90.00 ???

nice @ sturdyness
ohho at noise guess i might run some fans at 7V
am go hadda remove the blue fans from front or else i might have a hard time sleepin lol

EDIT: Question for guys with the CM690 is the side panel flimsy or sturdy?

its quite sturdy

the only gripe with it is that high cfm fans will cause the mesh to act like a reed whistle, giving a low hum noise. it's quite annoying. but there are enough fan placement options to keep you happy.

i use the top and front intake (with a 'McGuyver' for a 2nd front intake) and the back and top as outtake. the side on mine i sealed with tape.

if i en feeling lazy ill pop the case open and take some picks for j00

Coulda just get some 4 pin molex to sata adapters u know. Supertech had dual sata adapters for $10 a time and i buy out all, comes in handy when u have a lower end psu to work with. :)

NEVARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

btw oc that heatsink you sell mail, if you ever get another one like it i call dibs one time...that sink IMBA.

well i was planning to but the 650TX . that what i really was gonna order.... last week i emailed corsair asking about sata cables for the 520hx since i see it only comes with 4 sata (2 ports per cable) askin if there is a way to get extra cables an so on.. there responce was "Please provide your shipping info and I will send you some SATA cables. Thanks"
well i gave it an got response on thur that by friday she would ship it out for me :) ... an well that kinda pushed me to the HX series . but i originally planned on the TX . newegg has pretty nice deal on the 650TX right now also.
that an they amount of really good reviews i read on the HX series.

also i wont be needin super high power . i wont ever sli/crossfire .

EDIT: Question for guys with the CM690 is the side panel flimsy or sturdy?

thats not bad price atall from prw i like the simple look of that cm590 hmmm would rather the cm690 thou i like the 90 degrees to the dvd drives mount. :) ... wonder if prw in Chag has cases might try an pass in de morning yes.

about the bottom mount psu i like that it takes cool air from under case an cycles it out at back an the fact that most of my devices will be below of case (4 hdds)
and have more space on top to work around cpu area :)

should be getting my PSU by next week (it was shipped today)<_< >_> 620HX FTW

Why u prefer a bottom mounted psu?

Best cheap case u could get locally is this: http://www.coolermaster.com/products/product.php?act=detail&id=3927

SImple and 'clean' looking. Supposed to be near $500 in PRW i believe.

cool. wanted to bring it down myself but heard a guy who brought down an antec said skybox charge him like almost $1k just to ship . omg...

also interested in other decent case that anyone have to sell. but looking for something simple an "clean" looking. nothin too fancy. ... was looking at the NZXT that hard o/c has ... but would prefer a bottom mount PSU.

Also wouldnt mind a Lian Li PC-7F
