This is the card in question. I made the rather modest jump to a GTX 970 so I have no use for it. It comes with box and all accessories including an original backplate that I purchased for it separately. Of course, the card is fully functional with no issues. Please pm me if interested.

http://www.fudzilla.com/home/item/35043-haswell-e-to-launch-in-september Haswell-E, Intel’s next generation extreme platform, is set to launch by the end of the summer, according to a leaked document obtained by VR Zone.
The new Haswell-E chips, along with the X99 chipset, should debut in September. There is no specific date yet, but the launch could be timed to coincide with the Intel Developer Forum, which kicks off on September 9.
Haswell-E will be intel’s first professional desktop platform to support DDR4 memory. The series is expected to feature three chips at launch. The Core i7-5820K and i7-4930K are six-cores, while the role of Intel big core flagship goes to the Core i7-5960X.

4k is going to be the next big thing imo. Despite the fact that 90% of the content we currently consume on a daily basis is not even as high quality as "lowly" 1080p, people still run it down. "1080p displays or nothing says most" Of course, the notable exceptions are those people like me that use TV's as their primary PC display. Technology marches on, however and once again most of us will rush for tech that we cant even appreciate...its like looking at a 5 year old boy running down a lingerie model. But here we go...a new player in the market previously unheard of. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7674736That's right, folks. 50 inches of 4k goodness for just $1400us!!! Un-friggin believable. And I thought Sony's 55" @ $5500us was a steal of a deal!

If anyone was still in doubt as to the superior player in the market right now, look no further: I think the occasional hitches on the Radeon are pretty easy to see. The big, obvious slowdowns only happen every so often, but the GeForce avoids them—just as the test results told us.
Remember, the Radeon HD 7950 turns in an average of 69 FPS in this very test run, a rate that has been considered "good" in FPS terms for years. This is why measuring frame latencies, not just average rates, is so crucial. FPS averages don't capture what's happening from moment to moment. http://techreport.com/review/24051/geforce-versus-radeon-captured-on-high-speed-video

Unusual items I know but I've got two extra unused 5x sized jerseys from a while ago before I lost some weight. Figure someone here could get some great use out of these as sizes like this are next to impossible to find down here. Very high quality long lasting material and workmanship. Anyway asking $80 each or $150 for the pair. Brand new still in plastic packaging... Sent from my Nexus S using Tapatalk 2

In a phrase...EPIC win. I am getting one at launch. That is all. Here's a run down on what's changed from the og note (Engadget)Only slightly disappointed with the slightly reduced screen res. It means though that watching video on this thing is going to result in NO black border! I can live with that. 2gb RAM, quad core and jelly bean pre-loaded. I'll take one in gunmetal grey on launch day plix plox

Guys, ever used fraps while gaming and observed that while you have very good FPS rate the game still feels 'sluggish'? If this sounds familiar, read on. Came across a very very interesting article that redefines the way we think about the quality of our gaming experience. Instead of focussing solely on highest average FPS a graphics card can pump out, factoring in "frame latency" or the time it takes your cpu to make available the data that your gpu(s) process is equally important. Very interesting read to those wondering how much emphasis they have to place on CPU selection in their next system build. *Spoiler alert* AMD cpu's SUCKKK!

Sometimes its easy to forget that there's this silly little OS called mac but as IT pro's we still have to pay attention to them. So it seems as though someone finally got around to writing a piece of malware for the MAC. It seems to be pretty widespread and attacks out of date systems with Java installations. http://www.f-secure.com/weblog/archives/00002345.htmlIf you have a MAC, you may want to take heed.

Those, like me, who are marking the launch of the Ivy Bridge chips may have to wait a little longer. No problem, will give me more time to save up... Manufacturing issues apparently
Intel exec Sean Maloney told the Financial Times over the weekend that Intel’s next generation 22nm chips will ship in June.
Ivy Bridge was originally expected to ship in early Q2, but it seems Intel was forced to delay it for a couple of months due to manufacturing issues. Rumours of an Ivy Bridge delay have been circulating for weeks, but this is the first time an Intel exec went on the record and confirmed the delay.
“I think maybe it’s June now,” he said.
However, some things are still not clear. VR Zone reported last week that dual-core Ivy Bridge parts will be delayed, but quads were supposedly on track. Maloney did not elaborate and it is unclear whether he was talking about the entire series, or just dual-cores.
Intel’s official position is only that it will start shipping Ivy Bridge in Q2, so both April and June are covered.
In any case, the delay could play into AMD’s hands, as the outfit is gearing up to launch Trinity APUs and even try to unsettle Intel in the ultrabook market with some low-voltage parts.
