CASES / Hyundai/ Kia of cases!
« on: August 07, 2014, 08:16:39 PM »
This case from GMC Korea (not the American car company) is really the Hyundai/ Kia of cases!

It has some amazing features, but really has some cheap feeling metal and plastics.

Two front fans, lighted, two top fans and one exhaust! There is even a fan to go on the unused slots below your video card! It also looks mean! Fan controller included!

Trading Grounds / F.S. 17" Toshiba Laptop $3900 Neg.
« on: December 13, 2009, 08:05:14 AM »
Brought in this laptop expecting it to replace my aging 15" Toshiba which still works perfectly after 3 years of stringent abuse :)

It does, however, not meet with my likings. I have a HP which I bought, screen replaced, that fits the bill perfectly.

Screen is beautiful. Colors vibrant, movies show extremely well in the 1440x900.

Battery life is real good.

It is extremely light for a 17" too.

Comes with carry bag and laptop cooler.

Looking for a quick sale $4500 Neg.

Mobile Phones & Gadgets / Digicel EDGE
« on: January 18, 2007, 08:57:53 PM »
Anyone tried Digicel's EDGE service? Is it any good? Reliable? What kinda ping times? The srvice price is good, but the card so expensive!

From Ria at Digicel "The PC Cards cost $1200 (vat inclusive) and the service is billed at $150 per month for unlimited internet access."

Is it any competition to TSTT's GPRS or 3G?

It is the first time that an original Swiss Army Knife has been equipped with a USB Memory. It comes new also in a retroALOX style. The SWISSMEMORY TM USB Victorinox is a trendy accessory, a perfect gift and business tool. The small all-rounder integrates numerous useful tools and is available in two versions: one with a stainless steel knife, scissors, a file and a screw driver and the other without these tools, to carry when travelling on planes. Both versions, except the retroALOX, include a pressurized pen and a red LED. The new 1GB and 2GB Versions includes a white LED.
The SWISSMEMORY TM USB Victorinox is available with a memory capacity of 64, 128, 256, 512MB, 1GB or 2GB.
It is also possible to detach the USB part, a patented technology.
