Staring Leo DiCaprio and Maximus I mean Russell Crowe
Cross rating : 7/10

Synopsis, A CIA agent based in the middle east to combat terror finds himself in Jordan tracking someone known as the white whale.

Very interest plot and development, I like that through out the movie he was beaten and bruised. There was no real jaw dropping twists but you could have hardly predicted the ending.

Crowe pulled off his role like a genius.

I am a huge Samuel L Jackson fan. So to see him play the bad guy again was pretty cool.

The movie itself was set on a simple premise new neighbors move in next to a cop. Cop is all "i am da law"
But then it gets juciy when the cop makes it personal. Im going to stop there, I wouldn't go to MT to see this movie like some of my friends but definitely a CC8 flick

How come no one posted a review for this though.....

My favorite line in the movie was
"Or else what?"

The recent Vin Diesel flick
lots of action
Relatively quiet opening....I remember seeing the flyer next to dark knight...

Not.....bad.....kinda bitter sweet taste *but it could be my mood right now*

Um....Vin is a merc *woohoo* who is hired to transport a girl from one place to another *wait.......I've heard this before*
This girl is special as evident when she predicted that a bomb was going to blow. But that's all i am going to spoil

The chick is HOT there is a scene where she and Vin were about to get naughty and when the camera did the horizontal shot Vin was like a giant next to her....one word RAPE. His right arm has more meat than her entire body.

I suppose it was the movie's hard luck it opened around the time as the Dark Knight

I had a psp which i loved but sold off so i could buy either a Wii,PS3 or Xbox360

I initially wanted a ps3 but because of the limitations of the kind of games that are available...I'm looking at the innovative Wii...but then that also has limitations and haven't been a big fan of nintendo since the super

So i took in this on DVD this weekend.

Um.....are you a fan of senseless violence and linear stories?

Well you might be disappointed...but then again....not too much. The GTO in this flick is simply put wow..The fast action and pace at which things happen is quiet cool, make sure and have surround sound.

*********spoiler alert************

From the moment you find out 'frank' is jus a mask you know what is going to happen.

Politics & Soap Box Rants / Rant - I'll make you cry
« on: February 27, 2008, 07:17:50 AM »
Ever since i was a wee lad growing up my mother always you used to sing this song to me before unleashing her rain of blows. The words go like this..

"If I don't make you cry, you will make me cry, cause somebody IS going to cry"

Honeslty i never understood it until many years later and at that time felt I did something wrong but I shouldn't have gotten the licks for it. Then there was that time in primary school when i got 9 out of 10 in the spelling test for the life of me i failed to see the big deal yet i was given one stroke for the word i got wrong while my fellow classmates got stroke equal to the words they got wrong.

Where am I going with this?
http://www.newsday.co.tt/news/0,73975.html

Another one is dead...and before this Monday I read how the government is 'surprised' by the sudden increase in violence, porn, drug use, porn in our schools.

Are you? Not me...ever since they removed corporal punishment a bad situation worsened. I remember back in my days one of my class mates having a bag of....'skunk' in form 4. Then one of my other friends constantly relating to us stories about couples in his school banging on the back steps. So basically i know about this stuff long before we had cell phones and 20 feet high fences.

They blame it on Nokia, Motorola and Sony Ericsson and if this isn't enough Sharp, Samsung...who else makes TVs?....Still further they blame Dell, HP and Toshiba

I tired of the attitude "It isn't my fault".......they want to brace the security for not coming to Shaq's rescue (youth man that got killed)....The security CANNOT be in the right place at the right time that is ridiculous.

His mom said the same ole same ole good heart...ok....cool......WHY oh WHY did homeboy have $4,000 in cash on his person....he cashed a football cheque...ok...when? School starts at 8 the bank opens around that time. Why did he have to do it during school hours?

Sad to say I feel had this happened in a Prestige school (sorry I know we always come down on these...if it's any consolation i went to one for 7 years so i know first hand) the uproar might have had Patos making comments ONE TIME.

Now I wont say Martin joseph is to blame or Patos. This time I'm going home ITS the parents fault. You must have some measure of control over that cuddly ickle baby you brought into the world but you failed. You failed him, you failed me, you failed NEO and W1ntry and NGW, You failed trinidad, you failed as a parent and someone should punish you.

Quote
"We are going to come up with what is the best immediate remedy," said Joseph, speaking to the media following the official opening of Parliament yesterday.

Joseph said this "remedy" is to tackle crime presently, and after they will come up with long and short term plans to deal with the nation's most pressing issue.

I have a remedy...however its NSFW

Politics & Soap Box Rants / WHAT you voting for?
« on: September 20, 2007, 08:09:37 AM »
Before we fly off the handle it's a simple non-illegal question what are the key things you are looking at when making your decision?
Im not asking who you voting for
Im not asking why this one should not be given consideration
Im not asking who did what

Being a first time voter I don't want to be completely ignorant and limited to my parents/friends views i jus want to get an idea as to how others do it.
