tekken 4 was like sc3 where you must press a button with the ub to jump back, and since tekken doesn't have a guard button you must press a cuff or kick, and tekken 5 does have 8-way running (sorta), but requires a tap then hold of the cross botton. a much better alternative.
it was also considerably slower than tekken3 (tekken3 felt like dbz after playing 4)
and i do know people that won tekken3 tourneys that hate tekken 4 (ok maybe i know someone).
and jin tier kinda raised due to the increased speed they gave him. his style is close, fast, short combos that usually distress opponents when close enough (think bryan)
as for the wall abuse, in 5 it's ok, in 4 it seemed overdone, the gameplay seemed to focus on who could get their opponent against a wall first...

yeah the change in 4 from 3 sucked and you're crazy if you don't fine so too. hell you couldn't even simply jump backwards like normal games (not saying that jumping backwards is some life saving move or anything, but where's the freedom damn it)
as for jin...i hated jin since my bro used to use him all the time, so i had my laughs in tekken 4. i actually use jin in tekken 5 which plays like tekken 4 jin he isn't that bad imo

so far we have 2 new characters, a rock howard wannabe named leo and a girl that i heard someone say resembles morgan from x-play named zafina.... new characters don't make a game largest cast of characters ever....still doesn't make a game (thinks about MK Armageddon) evolved fighting system...still doesn't make a game, might even spoil it (thinks about tekken 4...then sighs...) more new characters on the way....if jun isn't in the new line up then i don't care about anyone that's new...(unless those bastards replace julia which will make me hate tekken) it's supposed to come out in arcades in 2k7 (late 2k7 i think) improved graphics...well duh, like we wasn't expecting that....early screens still aren't doing much but then we're exposed to a lot more next gen graphics so it's either not all that or going to be improved a lot more (since tekken usually has some of the best graphics for the console) i'm also not sure how arcade graphics match up to next gen consoles and the screens are supposed to be arcade... links http://sdtekken.com/2007/02/15/tekken-6-in-2007/#more-118http://www.tekken-official.jp/tk6ac/index.htmlhopefully that evolved fighting system stays close to tekken3/tekken5 since those were the best in the series. if it's anything like tekken 5 it's worth buying a ps3 for imo (with ff13 as another incentive). not sure how leo and zafina fits in to anything but hopefully these characters aren't just new faces with little importance like the new faces that came with tekken 5

bleh well i started playing tekken3 against neon, baego, bellaz and my bro, it was pretty pointless to even try button mashing against them, i had to take licks like a man and like it until i became good enough, the other non-related people i play are usually people that neon would've sweat with at the time when he won the tourney and stuff so i've pretty much only played good players and on the few ocasions i played noobs i owned them like there was no tomorrow and found myself having to ease them up to make fights more enjoyable. even at the arcades (which i hadly play since i'm not used to the joystick  ) it's pretty much impossible to "wild up" and win IMO. the noobs still get owned though.....maybe i'm looking at the average as noobs or something.....

i still laugh at people that think that people can button mash there way in tekken....sigh
so lets see, if sc4 goes multiplatform then it's just for all consoles (or at least 360+ps3) which means that it's the same as vf
the tekken news is just a rumor for now but if it goes multi as well then it's the same. so that means that other titles will determine which system i rather have, and i haven't heard any ff13 rumors so i guess i'll still tend towards ps3
lets also not forget the rumors that tekken 5 was going to be multi as well so i kinda doubt the tekken 6 rumor (for now anyway)

What new opening? What female character?
I just watched over the starting for 110 and there were no strange female characters in it...
I hope you not refering to 106 - 109 opening, which was replaced for the Bleach movie

well i thought most people would've heard me say some way or the other that i stopped watching bleach early in the fillers. i was asking my cousin the other day if the filler arc had finished and they said yes but that the new starting had some new character so i took a look at the character and saw a character that is not in the manga so to someone that just took a look at the starting and seeing these weird characters it pretty much looked like a new filler arc was starting so you'll have to excuse me on that. it's probably just the movie stuff you where were talking about then. i never said that i expected all to remain, if you read my first post over u'll see that i said that as long as they have those two games <---meaning that if they don't well then thats another story
and even if you want to say sc2 was better than 3, 2 was also on the ps2 just on the xbox ans gc as well, it just means that you didn't like what they did with the game and even if it was a multi platform game it would still be lower than sc2

i did say i was joking smarty, i know vf games are supposed to be good, they said that tekken 4 was much weaker than the vf game that was out at the time and i know people argue the series to be better than tekken but the point is that
tekken is better in my opinion and SC is right up there with it so why the hell would i buy a 360 for vf when i could get a ps3 for sc and tekken?
so imo vf could himc
we should also note that the game just isn't an exclusive anymore and will still be out on the ps3 so this means that if i cared for vf i could buy all 3 for my ps3

unless the developers learn how to use the power they will make crapy/lesser graphics. we all know that the two consoles are suppose to have games basically on the same level in terms of graphics with maybe frame rate differences and a few extra stuff like this new sweating thing they doing and even that's pretty much up to how good the developers can do it.
pretty soon the games on both consoles are going to reach their heights and we could have a nice little comparison although it's still pointless to me since i like games for gameplay, heck i still sweat ps1 games like vagrant story and tekken3 even though i have tekken 5 and ff12
