What always impressed me in the HALO games was that you can see which movies,TV series and books in which influenced it (e.g : Starship Troopers, ALIENS, Babylon 5. Larry Niven's Ringworld) They take those influences, make it their own , but wear them like badges of honor.

What I liked about H4:FUD, is that IMHO it had a very Battlestar Galactica (2004-2009) feel to it,the shaky doc cam style for the battle scenes,it being filmed in Vancouver at the University there, the actors who played, General Black,the Doctor, Colonel Lasky and the older Lasky all starred in BSG. I'm gonna get the Blu -ray version, I hope its gonna be the extended version, Like the H4: Limited ed. which includes a code to redeem and download the extended version
Hey all, I spoke to FLOW tech support, they said the issue with with low download speeds should be resolved by the end of this week.I was off from work today and I tried downloading a torrent,my download speed for torrents(25mbps package) would normally be 300kbps-1000kbps.With the recent outage I would experience under 100kbps. Today it was up to 1000kbps! But by evening time it slowed to 100kbps. I read other posts, and for some it is resolved. It seems to me that they are working on the issue but I hope this reduced download speed is not permanent. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

"Alex @fourzerotwo Have you got any plans on taking off the Region Lock? I live in Finland and cant find any lobbies after 2am."
fourzerotwo Robert Bowling @ @TheManlnBlack There is no Region Lock, but clearly weighted matchmaking is causing some unpredictable restrictions that we're looking into.
Hmm strange, we get into games easily in barebones... what's your gamer handle we'll add you and bring you into some of our games. Also do you use blink or flow?

I am hopeful when the dashboard update is rolled out we'll see a difference. Otherwise my advice in the meantime is to seach in the Advanced-barebones gametypes. You'll find both local and foreign players in this game mode without too much hassle.
I tried the advanced/barebones gametypes....same issues as before appreciate the advice though. I checked the COD official forums, the is a thread for matchmaking problems, alot of ppl are reporting this issue. Does the PS3 version have this forced local matchmaking?
Hey all, does anyone know any info on when or IF the local matchmaking(i.e: Trinis are matchmade against Trinis) will be set to being optional such as in MW2 and Black Ops. This is really frustrating...MW3 delivers what COD is about, but this really puts a damper on the game. Some times matchmaking takes a long time, spent a half hour waiting in the lobby.Never even got a chance to try kill confirmed or even domination!
From what I heard.. this local matchmaking was supposedly and intentionally done as to limit lag for US and UK gamers(the main markets for COD)
Has anyone in Trinidad been able to change their account password and log on since 3.61 update has been released? I guess since we are located so close to South America.... the reactivation operation hasnt reached us yet.

I know I was getting 10-20 sec lag in the beta which is preventing me from buying the game. If you say you getting that in retail, now I really don't know if to buy this game.
UPDATE: I played MP, (WARZONE,GUERILLA WAR) last night, played 8 matches, no lag, no network errors. Looks like GG are improving things. Get the Helghast edition! Its really cool!
Hey all, Any of you guys getting these connection errors(10002 and 8013) when trying to log on to the multiplayer? Also when you are playing multiplayer do you get a 5-10 sec lag when you shoot someone? This is really annoying, I heard GG is supposed to issue a patch to resolve this
