Connects to your Android or iOS device via bluetooth, and once you install the app, you can push notifications from almost any app on your device to the watch. I'm talking emails, texts, IM apps like Google Talk/WhatsApp...you name it. If the app presents a notification, it can be pushed to the watch. Even with phone calls, the caller ID/name is clearly displayed, and the watch actually vibrates with each notification (which takes some getting used to )
So now you no longer have to miss a key notification if you don't have your phone on you. it still has to be within bluetooth range though. You can have your phone totally silent and never miss an event. Win.
The real winner for me though, is the fact that I can control the PowerAmp music player via the watch's built-in 'music' controls, and yes, I can stream that very music to my LG Tone+ headset at the same time.
It comes with a magnetically attachable USB charge cable. One charge is supposed to last a full week. We shall see.
The fact that the watch is also firmware upgradeable, means that the possibilities for new types of functionality are immediately available. Unfortunately, the watch is only available from the makers' Kickstarter page, and with about 80 THOUSAND units on back-order, there's no guarantee when you'll get one if you decide to order. Now I wish had ponied up for one back in April when the project was launched.
Still, this thing has potential to be great with a few more firmware updates.
Of course I had to give it a proper 'turning out' with games for so. Just happened to have GTA 3 on deck, and this little controller did not disappoint. It just so happens that the game supports the controller natively, so there's nothing to configure.
I then put it through its paces with every emulator I had, including DroidEMU, FPSe, N64oid. I'm happy to report that it passed the 'Sho-Ryu-Ken' test with flying colors. Playing all those old PS1 classics with FPSe will be a real treat.
I even tested it with ShadowGun, which is an online 3rd person shooter for Android, and while the tiny analog sticks take some getting used to, the fact that I could move, roll, and shoot like on a regular console had me giggling with glee.
I already have the MHL-HDMI cable, so now I can game with reckless abandon away from home.
Good times.
Granted, it's not cheap, but for what it does, it's totally worth it...and it's not limited only to Android. Any device with Bluetooth connectivity can make use of this, including PCs.
Arcmanov approved.

So...as we end off a truly stellar year for gaming in general (Black Ops 2/Medal Of Honor notwithstanding ), what games are you looking forward to spending unholy amounts of time out of the sunlight on?
In order of importance my list looks something like this...
1. Crysis 3 (PC) 2. Dead Space 3 (PC) 3. Aliens: Colonial Marines (PC) 4. Metro: Last Light (PC) 5. The Last Of Us (PS3) 6. Metal Gear Rising: Revengance (PS3)
EDIT: Battlefield 4 added...but that's so far down in 2013 it's not a factor...yet.
...subject to adjustment of release dates, time, school, family, life, that sort of thing.
February alone sees the release of Dead Space 3, then Aliens, then MGR, then Crysis 3. Lord...put a hand.
I'll have to manufacture some time in a parallel universe to play all that yes.
So what games are you fiending for the most in 2013?

Decided to give this one a go, as it was part of the Humble Bundle (and I also played quite a bit of Red Faction: Guerrilla).....and I am HOOKED!!!
I was literally like: 'WTF...WHY did I not play this last year!!?'
So now I have this and Far Cry 3 battling for my time.
The story ain't much, but the gameplay is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! WICKED weapons...especially the the 'Magnet Gun'...not to mention your 'Nano-Forge' abilities.
OMG... Starships... Fighters... Missile swarms... The cold blackness of space...
...AND IT'S A FREE GAME!!!

What is Diaspora?
After four long years in the making we are proud to release Diaspora: Shattered Armistice. Diaspora is an episodic-release single and multiplayer space fighter combat game set in the reimagined Battlestar Galactica universe. Diaspora is a standalone freeware game based on the FreeSpace Open Engine, everything needed to play is in the download. The project is not-for-profit and not associated with NBC Universal or Bigpoint's Battlestar Galactica Online.
Our team opted for episodic releases, each involving short plots surrounding different Colonial or Cylon ships and characters. The first Release, Shattered Armistice, tells the story of the Battlestar Theseus and her crew during the attack on the colonies. Many ships seen in the show are part of the first release but some such as the Viper MK2 and the Battlestar Galactica are going to be seen in later releases where they are part of the main story.
Shattered Armistice has a fully-voice acted 8 mission campaign with an original score and cinematics. Several ships never before seen in the Battlestar Galactica universe such as the Sobek class battlestar and Assault Vipers make an appearance.
If there is continued fan interest and support, future episodic releases will see ships such as Pegasus and Galactica from the show. You'll also see more ships not from the show that flesh out the Cylon and Colonial fleets.
Background It has been 40 years since the devastating war between the Colonials and the Cylons. 40 years where no one has seen or heard of the Cylons. 40 years where the armistice has held.
Game Features
Fly the MK VII Viper, the Raptor or the new MK VIIe strike variant.
Take part in furious battles against Cylon forces.
Play multiplayer missions against your friends as Colonial or Cylon forces.
Completely voice acted throughout.
Original soundtrack inspired by the show
Create your own missions and share them with the included mission editor.

Known Issues
Due to the size of the installer it may take a long time for the installer to actually start. This may last several minutes (up to five minutes in some instances). There are reports that virus checkers may extend this delay so you may wish to turn them off during the installation process.
Multiplayer is currently very much in beta. Also, in order to enhance the eventual multiplayer experience, the team decided not to finalise the balance between ships. Feedback from players is very welcome. The true multiplayer experience will be available in the next release. Till then, if you wish to experiment, here's how to get started.
Installation
Windows
Simply download the installer and run it. The Installer will guide you through installing the game.
Mac OS X

Patch 1.0.1 fixes a few mission bugs and crashes. It is available here.
Soundtrack
During the time we've spent developing Diaspora, we have frequently been asked which songs from the show we've used in our trailers. The fact is that almost all the music in the game or trailers has been original. So for that reason, we're also releasing the soundtrack. You can find details on it here.
These cards are the version with two BIOSes. There's the 'normal' BIOS, and then there's the 'unlocked' BIOS which sports the increased shader count. In this mode, only a slight tweak of the voltage allows you to OC them to 6970 speeds. No re-flashing necessary.
Enough about that though. Cards were purchased in December 2011, and run at overclocked settings using Catalyst since then. Aggressive fan profiles were used to ensure no overheating...ever.
Of course you get the cards..in their original boxes.
Phone is currently running Android ICS v4.0.3 custom firmware by XDA developer 'VK', with Siyah v3.4 kernel...
It's a ROM based on Samsung's original firmware, with various tweaks made to make it smoother and faster. Everything works. EVERYTHING. Of course, you can always flash another custom ROM quite easily.
Purchased brand new in December 2011. MINT condition. No scratches, nicks or dents anywhere.
You get: - the phone - AC charger - data cable - wired headset with extra earbuds - original box with manuals
I will also include an Otterbox case, and official Samsung 2000 mAh battery. the battery comes with it's own back-cover, as it's slightly thicker than the original 1650 mAh battery. ** Not selling these items separately **
Purchased brand new from Amazon in July 2011. Used for TV, and consoles. Was also connected to a HTPC.
Special note: although websites list an HDMI cable in the package contents, this monitor did not come with one, but it did come with a VGA cable, and 3.5mm (male-to-male) audio cable.
Let this be a lesson to you people (yes... YOU PEOPLE) who want to chronicle your entire lives on social media. It is frightfully easy for someone to pose as you to obtain passwords for your various accounts just from your social media shenanigans.
Developed by Gaijin Entertainment...makers of the stellar Birds Of Prey (console), Wings Of Prey (PC) and Apache: Air Assault (multiplatform).
Bloody game out since March 2012. There's a demo on XBL and PSN. Found it by chance while browsing for new demos on PSN, or else I may have missed it completely. Konami need LIXX for not marketing this one AT ALL.
Of course I'll be picking this one up in due course. Since Xbox Live has all the DLC thus far, I'll be getting that version.
Still not a fan of the metro UI, but I like what I'm seeing here. The tech on offer here is undeniably cool...especially the Windows 8 Pro model...and definitely a step in the right direction.
I must admit I kinda want.
My main problem with this, is that this is not how you do a product launch, and I have to give Apple credit where this is due: when they launch a product, you can usually buy it the same day, or the next. We have to wait about SIX MONTHS to buy one of these Surface tablets. Will enough people still care by then...or even remember?
That said though...I can foresee one of these being a true laptop replacement.
If I had one of these...I would have bought a LOT more fighting games for the Xbox 360. Using a proper Dual Shock 3 controller on the 360 for fighting games would kick SO much @$$ (pun intended )
As an owner of both systems...I think I want one... but honestly, they move too late with this.
From the comments...

A few words why the Cronus is better than de XCM (and similar) because, in only one device, it can do what all the features of these other devices, and more as:
- Cronus is the only one with works with PS3 controllers in wireless mode
- The only with works with Wiimote.
- Cronus is the only one with have a PC interface which can:
* Allow use the Keyboard and Mouse of a PC (laptop) to play on consoles.
* And able us to make other applications like:
- to play with aid of command voice for deficient people (one handled, etc...)
- to use any kind of input device on PC to play on consoles (wheel, flight joysticks, etc ..)
- computer vision applications to play with movements (like kinect).
- and we can think and more applications, there is no limit in what we can do.
- Multi-plataform, so it can be used with PS3, XBox360 and PC.
- Compatible with multiple controllers (any controller that uses the same protocol used on XBox360, PS3 and Wii); this includes almost all licensed controllers for XBox, some licensed PS3 controllers and most all third-party PS3 controllers.
- Unfortunately we took out our biggest differential, that was the programing feature; but we can still offer:
