It's been a long time coming, and gosh dar, I think It's time I share the bring cpu spots with the rest of the guys. If I can get a map of the place   and a time frame, and cost, then I'll be sound as a pound. ALthough, due to my taste in games and lack of updates, I am only available for Midnight CLub 2, Battlefield 1942 & Secret Weapons, Warcraft 3 & Frozen Thronw, Worms World Party & a few others. Anyone could kinda shed light on this newcomer?

WEll, I can only improve of the criticisms. Hearing you guys comment on my system will only aid me in making my next set of upgrade decisions. I already gonna get some more memory and a Processor upgrade. I also plan on doing a water cooled system like the new Apple Powermac G5. I gonna look for the scematics for it and look around in my case and see if it can be done

THanks for the feedback guys. I started off the DDR 400, cuz it was all I coulda get, afterall, I only worked part time. I know the case how it is and whatnot, but I mean it's not what's on the outside that counts, it's how it performs, am I nor tight guys? I mean I coulda take a toilet for a case and still have d best gaming machine out there. I have managed to get a 35 FPS+ with need for Speed: Underground (this figure is an estimate due to frequently fluctuating read outs.) It can run most of the latest games well and I think it suite me very well for now. Later on, when I am working, I intend to do some more upgrading when I have cash at hand. What I would like is for the experts here to toss out suggestions as for what componenets to get as I plan to upgrade

THanks for the feedback guys, both positive & negative. It'll show my faults and where I need to imporove a bit. Close to the end of my course @ SBCS, the following upgrades will take place:

A full interior blue neon kit to match the frontal ones
512MB of the same RAM
An upgrade to the AMD Athlon XP 2800/3000

Now, what will help me is if someone will show me the light to where I can obtain a price for these. The sooner the better, and when I get a good deal I will give them the sale. As you can see, I paid a good bit for the hardware, so you know I will want the upgrades. So those who know pwople or who have thigns to sell, check me, I just might give you the sale

Black Case with side window ond front Neons
ASUS A7V8X-X Motherboard
AMD Athlon XP 2600
256 DDR 400 RAM (333MHz System Bus)
160GB Seagate Baracuda Hard Disk Drive
Chaintech Geforce FX5200 128MB DDR AGP8X Graphics Card
Sony 12X DVD-RW Drive (Bay 1)
Lite On 52x24x52 CD-RW Drive (Bay 2)
Logitech Z-640 5.1 Stereo Surround SOund COmputer Speakers
AOC 17" Black Monitor

I plan on bringing the machine to sweat with the rest of the big guns of a GATT sweat, so lemme know when and where y'all gonna sweat next, and I will  try to be there

Yeam man, exams done, so I am now a free man. Bwoy since dat boombaclak protest by carib all I getin is carib bottle, knife drawn on meh, buss winshield and all kinda political insult tossed meh way. SO I cyar get into any contact with Nikki or Stephanie (if there are any Carib girls with those names   ) I've also been away for so long cuz I have been all about Trinidad trying to get PC parts for me to build my own PC. I've also given buy.co.tt the privelage of being my main choice for motherboard, hard drives, graphics card, DVD & CD Burners, sound cards & one or two other parts. I can tell you that it'll be running @ 2.8 (An AMD for sure) and coasting a 128 MD DDR Chainforce. I'll also be using the Aseus motherboard with AGP 8x support so when I get a full time job I can upgrade to my 256.  :P It all sounds yummy and I can't wait to get the graphics card especilly. I mean everything else is cool, but I will take extra care with my graphics card. If I come up short in total cost for my budget, I'll also take the liberty of adding a suitable Neon kit for the occasion (perferably baby blue) I'll keep you guys posted on its progress and when next I will attend a sweat packing heat for the first time  8)

Hey people of GATT. I'm a memeber that might only be remembered by the village elders of GATT (namely Baego, Rampage, Cobo & stuff). I was aptedly named THe Mac Man for my addiction to Macs. WEll, jus so you know I am bacl, and this time for good. I am currentlly working on a gamning machine project to build my own gaming PC from scratch, and I plan to test it out at an upcoming sweat. I may even look to buy all the parts from buy.co.tt. Hope to see the old & new faces of GATT at a sweat soon!
