Random through your sprawling playlist? Select just a few quality tracks a time? Well, if you're like me and plow through a ton of tracks. This is for you. A good article about winamps latest improvement to JTF (Jump to File) http://www.winamp.com/about/article.php?ai...73&article_pg=1 Below is a snippet Early last month, Wired News published a piece on people listening to music by randomly shuffling through the tracks. It's a great way to go through larger collections, affording the listener a chance to hear a song he or she might've missed or forgotten. Since the days of yore, Winamp has supported this peculiar listening habit-Winamp has supported "the shuffle." We're pro-shuffle, one could say. Go to any shuffle rallies or demonstrations. We're right there in the thick of things, sticking it to the man. If you think playlist shuffling is "the future", then "Jump to File" is the jetpack that briskly pilots you through the wonders of tomorrow. This oft-forgotten Winamp feature has been around since our junior years, but is still just as useful as ever. Many people just load up a playlist of a hundred or two songs for Winamp to randomly wander through while they work on something else. What if you come up with a particular song you want to listen to in the playlist? You can hit the letter "J" (or "Ctrl-Alt-J" if you have Global Hot Keys enabled) to bring up the Jump to File window. Instead of having to scroll through long playlists, Jump to File lets you conveniently search for your song, taking ID3 tag information and even file names into consideration. Hitting the "Jump To File" button plays your selected song, before returning to your random playlist. But wait, there's more!

Earlier this week a man broke into one of my suppliers vehicles while parked outside euro and stole some computer components.
The man made his escape and attempted to pipe the items by a nearby bar.
After running around looking for him, we got a heads up that he was by this bar, recovered the items and then returned to take him to the authorities.
Needless to say, he ran and after much effort we were able to capture him and keep him put until the police responded (which ofcourse they took their merry time in doing)
The man was taken to the woodbrook police station, who sent him to St. Clair station since it was their jurisdiction.
Upon arrival @ the St. Clair station to give evidence, the police there asked for the stolen items.
We explained they were recovered and would be brought down to the station the evening or following day. That wasn't good enough. They gave quite a tongue lashing, restated the obvious several times and pretty much refused to keep the man.
The attitude was terrible. These guys talking about leaving 6 o clock, whether evidence come or not. As if crime cares about their work schedule.
A very sad state of affairs for a police station in one of the most expensive real estates on the island.
No surprise, that a friend of mine is selling her house, in St. Clair, a stones throw from the station...it having been broken into three times in as many months. The culprit nor items ever found.
Slackers.
Where is spiderman, batman and robin when you need them most.
The price of justice is eternal vigilance.

Today is a sad day for all of GATT as we mourn the passing of FrenchKiller. A powerful man who has blessed us with his presence for the last time. Brought down by the terrible foe, cancer.
Many of you will know him as the european foreigner that gave us the awesome Euro+ GL. A place constantly filled with the passion of his wife and son.
Let us wish that his family and friends find the strength to cope with this difficult time.
The traditional words...good sweat, sweat buss, good sweat
May he rest in peace.

The collection of Trailers @ Euro are now at 6GB and growing everyday.
Latest and greatest oldies but goodies
Oft times, a brisk 5 minute install/play/delete routine will cost you a gem of a gaming experience. Too many games and too little time. These trailers give a much more indepth peek @ what's in store on those shiny CDs/DVDs so you can best choose which game to sink your teeth into.
See what you've been missing all this time or whats on the radar for tomorrow.

Guys, As you all should know by now, Euro is under new management. We have done some stuff to the place that we hope the membership will appreciate. 1) New GAMES. That's right. Prince of Persia the Sands of Time, Spell Force, Unreal 2004, RC Racers, Yu-Gi-Oh, Soul Calibur 2, Tekken 4, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, Painkiller, Sacred, Desert Combat 0.7 and more. (We are the gamers association after all, what else did you expect?) 2) New Hard Ware! What would new games be if you did not have the right power under the hood to run them? 512MB of RAM, 2100+ processors and Blisteringly fast Geforce 4 TI 4200 cards that make the rest of our 440 MX fleet look like they were run over by Reaper and Akeel. (At a combined muscle mass of about 4000lbs you don't want to be run over by Reaper and Akeel) 3) DSL!! Yes, no more satellite driven, high latency cable connection for us. We have bitten the bullet and switched over to DSL. (Especially critical for our matches again Jamaica and the rest of the world!) 4) New CyberCafe Pro Client and Server. This is the lastest in Cafe Management software with tons of cool features for us and lower operating overhead for you. This means less resources go into monitoring the machine and more resources go into giving you higher frame rates in games. 5) Console / Anime / Movie TV. We have placed a dedicated PC with a TV card connected to a Playstation 2 in one of the gaming rooms. Great for watching games on the big screen, anime, movies and most of all, RECORDING WHEN I BEAT IMPERIAL X to a an mpg file for the world to see. MUHAHAHAHA (Bob, SHUT UP) A second TV is provided as well for those wanting to bring their own console. 6) Well stocked fridge. Not that this was much of a problem before, but we are trying to keep the fridge up to date with the latest in gaming accessories. Namely Mountain Dew!! 7) Cup Ramen!!! Naruto fans rejoice. Now you too can eat Ramen and work on Chakra control right within the hallow halls of Euro. Promotions, Promotions, Promotions. We are giving away stuff....reallly reallly cool stuff. All you need to do to get in on this action is sweat @ euro. It's that simple....we like simple. 9) Tournament scheduling software. No more messy hard to read paper sheets with chicken scratches. We have firmed up the tournament scheduling process using some kick ass software. Random seeding iwmc. 10) Girls. What would GATT men be without GATT girls? In a word...GAY. To stemmy this scary trend, we have been leaving trails of cosmetic products outside leading into the GL to encourage some measure of female presence. So far it has been working. Thank you Penny Wise. 11) Mug Shots. Every GATT member that walks in our doors get their mug shot taken for inclusion in sweat reports, "The Most Wanted" post on the Euro bulletin board and submission to the "FBI 10 Deadliest Men" list. 12) New Staff. A star studded team made up mainly of our own people. GATT members true and true. Here to serve the gamedom as best we can. 13) New opening hours. 8AM - 10PM. EVERY DAY. (Yes, even on Sunday, yes even on carnival monday/tuesday) You know the drill. Suhuhuweat!!!!!!!! 14) Functional Printers. From the speedy black and white laser, to the slow but colorful HP inkjet. We got you covered. We've also fixed up our auto cutting receipt printer so that the timecodes print faster and is easier to read. You know you don't wanna be standing around waiting for your timecode when there is good gaming to be had. 15) ART. IYMC. The decor has gone game. Shizz has made use of his talants (and those printers mentioned before) to give some added decor and personality to the machines. As a gamer, you'll feel right @ home. 16) Suhuweat!!! Every weekend, sweat action guaranteed. Tournaments will be running red. Expect all your favourite games to make the list. Ask for them. People who make the most noise will be heard! 17) Home of Caribbean Gamers Association. Yes folks, we are taking you international. The bachanal has already begun. Tired of killin your own brethren? Let's take the beatings overseas. First stop, the caribbean, next...the WORLD. (Be sure to go and raise some hell on the GAJ forum, you can find it here.... http://www.carigamers.com18) Sweat for FREE!! That's right. We are not just here to take your money. We aim to give some of it back, I said some, not all of it....give me back that money RB.... As I was saying, on Sunday....BYOC....is FREE. Walk with your computer and up to 8 people can hook up to the network and get their game on without paying a red cent...or a brown cent for that matter. 19) Got Clan? Got Game? Sweat Free! Bring 8 of your members and you get 1 guy playing for free. A clan account. Unlimited time. Don't abuse it....or you'll lose it. You know how we Trinis are. We like free. 20) DVD Blazing services. Got a ton of stuff you need backed up from your hard drive. Too big to fit on a CD? Too lazy too shuffle through 8-9 pengos? We have the solution. An External USB2 DVD Burner. It's yours to use on BYOC/ Anime Sunday for a modest fee of $10 a burn. (Can life get any sweeter you must be saying, lol) (well it does) 21) Anime Sunday! Sit down and take in the latest anime episodes and movies with your crew on every other sunday. Walk with your AMVs, clips, pop corn, etc....actually, don't walk with the pop corn...buy it from us. lol That's it. It's all good...it's all game. A lot of changes, which we think the membership will appreciate. Other GLs, I hope will follow our lead and help increase the level of gameage and digital entertainment facilities on the island and the caribbean as a whole. Got a cool idea? Something we missed? Suggestions? Rest it on our chest it. Our door is always open. Send an email, call, fax, smoke signal, carrier pigeon, etc... baego@gatt.co.tt neon@gatt.co.tt shizzumaru@hotmail.com trinity@gatt.co.tt euro@tstt.net.tt 622-6328 One last thing........Suhuweat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys,
We will be interviewing some gaming icons from the island on an ongoing basis. The guy you know...or should know who have been instrumental in establishing our gamedom. The movers and shakers of our digital world.
But first, a question to you.
What to ask some of the greatest gaming minds the caribbean has to offer?
Pick their brain iwmc.
This stuff is going to the media, so nothing too raunchy, lol.
Example Question 1
What are your thoughts on the increasing blood, gore and violence in video games? Just a release for the youth, to vent frustrations? Or a clever IRA/Al Queda collaborative effort to create a new breed of emotionless terrorists?
Got it? nice....now lets get those creative juices flowing.

Fellas, Spell Force getting on bad. Let me warn you first, this is not for a man weak of PC. This game calls for power, lots of it. Machine crawling running this game but anywayz on with the review Spell Force: Order of Dawn Brought to you by JoWood, same company that made Arx Fatalis...a game where you could mix flour and water and bake bread by a fire side! Talk about attention to detail. They also made Chaser, which has the most intricate glass destruction implementation I've seen to date. Breaking windows in that game is an art, but I digress....back to Spell Force. JoWood did not dissapoint. "All the little things" is their forte, I have never seen an RTS with such attention to detail. Trees sway in the breeze, animals walk around aimlessly, workers dress to suit their rolls. Madness. Imagine, you throw a worker in a Woodcutters hut to fell some trees, next thing yuh know the man ditch his basic gears and throws on a lumberjack getup, complete with an appropriate axe. He becomes a "craftsman" and does twice as good a job as an ordinary worker would. Very bad. Day / Night cycle Did I mention that the mc trees sway?? The RPG elements are in full effect, and I do mean full effect. Is almost like Baldurs Gate. Charisma, Agility, Wisdom, Strength, etc....it's all there. Along with a ton of "special" abilities, both light side and dark side. Each allowing you to develop special powers. Combat spells, healing, etc... Infact, if you use the third person view instead of the isometric, it plays a bit like Dungeon Seige, without the healing potions. You have to see the Forge to believe it. When you build this structure, you have to leave a worker assigned to it. That worker stands by the anvil and forges mc weapons! You actually see the man hammering the molten metal and watching his work, gauging it. Did I mention the mc trees sway? ??!!?!?? Lawd, it bad, it mad, it rad, yuh dad The only complaint thus far is the voice acting of the tutorial mission. Very weak. Minor annoyance....forget it, let's sweat it. suhuweat!!!!!!!!!!!!! But don't just take my word for it.... PC Games 01/03 „…a splendid mix of Warcraft3 and Dungeon Siege.“ „…Helm’s Deep-style battles…“ „The graphics look so great and the controls so easy, SpellForce makes you want to push aside the demonstrator, grab the mouse and start fighting goblins yourself.” GameStar 01/03 „Beautifully staged 3D battles.“ „SpellForce is an action-oriented strategy game with a fantastic atmosphere” „...magnificent graphics and intuitive controls...“ PC Action 07/02 „Excellent graphics, a magical hero and phenomenal user-friendliness: Here comes SpellForce!” „The 3D graphics really are awe-inspiring“
