Trading Grounds / WTB: Server

I need to get my hands on a Server for webhosting....anyone has any notable advice here or any parts that I can consider buying from anyone here ?
Any help is appreciated

Main need is a board that allows for multiple SATA or IDE drives
Processor or dual processors and RAM
(I more or less need the whole set up lol)
If anyone has anything laying around post or pm.

I recently (exactly 10mins ago) got a call from an aunt that is working for a new consultancy firm in the diamondvale area that needs webmasters to work one on one with and produce a series of webpages for them and also has opening positions for about three young dedicated persons willing to work...(not sure of the details yet) but persons must have IT knowledge and background...solid basics..all training will be provided.

I know this isnt much for now....but I'm just giving the head's up anyone interested in anything here post here or pm me or add me on msn if need be.


I will be in further contact with the owners tomorrow and also on friday. Full details on objectives and PAY (most important) will be pm to anyone who is interested


So if anyone knows of anyone or is willing to do some webdesigning pm me please.

Ok I just want some feedback on this to know if it will work before I spend or do anything stupid. If you take a normal USB webcam and attach it to a USB to LAN adapter then hook that to a wireless router will you be able to connect to that specific webcam and be able to see the Vid feed ?? or if any device is connected in that manner will it be useable.



In connection with that anyone has any info on where to get a wireless lan cam   or an IP cam for a good price. Or have any good info on this topic....please post up here, I'll really appreciate it.

I'm trying to set up a linksys wireless router WRT54G............its all connected properly but it refuses to connect to the internet.
I used the CD and chose the DHCP settings an it keeps saying that the router cannot connect to the internet.

Anyone have any ideas that will work, on what to do?


I left the DHCP settings in the default........is there something I should change?

Anyone knows where I can get a Toshiba laptop backlight fixed or if anyone here can do it post or pm me please.
It's just like a connection wire that supplies power to the backlights that needs changing.
