Holy crix and cheese, the graphics looking sweeeet. I hope the gameplay does not suck when it's released. Hard to have a game with bes' graphics and sucky gameplay.

well i haven't played the wii or the xbox 360... but i have played the ps3 on a 32inch hdtv.. and boy o boy that phookin thing sweet. I played only one game and i was sold. Personally i would buy the Wii for the seemingly fun gameplay due to its control innovation not too sure about the 360. I would probably choose the PS3 and hook it up to my home network for some free online play. I'm a pc guy.. so i would spend 2500 on a gpu quicker than a new console.

breds.. next year i'm buying either the 8800gts or a 9 series card... i'm just using this card as a substitute till next year... it works damn good, i though it would have been worst..

Lets hear his tune when he installs Crysis only to be greeted with a very good looking...s...l...i...d...e...s...h...o...wTMC???

honestly, i'm not dumb enough to try or even think about running crysis on this, as i said in a post b4, d game dvd will watch d pc, and smell the suckage of the graphics card.

Yuh sayin it like yuh aint sure.

My friend, this game is all about the eye-candy.  Unless you have a high-end(-ish) DX9 card (ATi 19xx, Nvidia 79xx),
then this eye-candy will be 'off-limits' so to speak.  The thing is, the graphics are so much a part of the gameplay
that not playing on 'medium-high' to 'high' settings might actually ruin the experience.  We'll just have to wait and see.

As PC gamers, what drives our regular hardware upgrades the most is usually new games right?
This game will force MANY to upgrade their hardware.  Most likely video-card, and if you can afford it, 8800 GTS fo shizzle.

Nuff said...

PC Gaming / Re: PC gaming... hyped as overpriced, but is it really?
« on: July 22, 2007, 03:12:46 PM »
honestly... i agree with those who said... gaming is expensive especially pc gaming... well becuase i recently upgraded from an AMD Duron 950 mhz, with 512mb SD ram, and a GeForce 2 mx400 on a stinking pci bus.... to the current system you see on the left.. Now i could have spent about 1000 dollars and buy a sempron, a stick of ram, and a cheap mobo with integratged video,  BUT, i'm a pc gamer.. the pc is the only platform i have grown into playing games on. I spent 4785 dollars on my new pc and i love every stinking part of it.. the only thing i need to upgrade further is to a Direct X 10 graphics card and i'll be safe. Now i don't mind spending the cash on upgrades to my system to play the latest games.. but u have to know what u are comfortable with i.e Medium Quality or High Quality.. and your cost may differ and be a cheaper solution than if you go behind a console.. but that's just my opinion and this pc vs. console war will never end.
