Benchmarks / Re: Official GATT 3DMark 2011 Benchmark Leader board

lol @ Really....really...reallly

Messiaah yuh come good there yes. We graduate from animated gif to youtube vids.

FCTT, we don't have a server up for BF3 anymore but will be rallying hard for Battlefield 4. Save your bullets for that. lol

On a more serious note, to keep things interesting (since none of us could compete with the top dogs in the benchmark arena now) we will be instituting some categories for the benchmark threads.

Value PC: Rigs costing up to US$750.00

Gaming PC: Rigs costing up to US$1500.00

Enthusiast PC: Rigs costing US$1501.00 and beyond

This should give more members a chance to have a shot at a top spot.

Current day market value will apply when the cost of a rig is put into question. Monitors / peripherals not included.

Only the contents of the system unit and cooling apparatus (yes Messiaah, that external deep freeze will count. lol)

This would seem fair, also what about separating Single Cards from Multi-Card setups.

Good God.. the jpeg quality poor and i sure if yuh benchmark the jpeg it's faster than my computer lol. Can't route the cables a little bit better? I'm just being a bit anal   :ko: but i hate to see wires and you have the room bro.

Still need to do cable management  this is not the final product.

This far from done.

Im just waiting to get my 2400mhz ram and custom cooler

If you really want to go 4k I recommend this:

http://anandtech.com/show/7157/asus-pq321q-ultrahd-4k-monitor-review

It's clocking in at $3500, but this is a good display. This is d price-range to expect good 4k displays, anything going for 1000$ , is rel cheap no good crap. Is like buying a pirate cam rip dvd instead of a bluray. Spending money to get a i7-x and 3 titan, then to gone pair it with ah knock-off? not recommended atal.

Thanks I will get the Asus then.

These are some insane specs, but i hope you plan to do more with that case. Would be nice to see some better cable management or some insane aesthetics like some mods or sumn bro.

It don't matter to me either way how men spend they money.

But I have to reiterate, 3 titan have very diminishing returns, hell if u have the money I say go for it, if ah extra 10 fps is worth a Grand to u personally, why not .

In terms of benchmarks, 2gpus vs 4 argument moot eh first choice.
Because one of your gpu is equivalent in cost and performance, to 2 of ltchiney 4

YUh talking 2, 2000 dollar gpu setup duking it out.
Same i7 chip.
The competition between these two rigs couldn't be any more epic than it already is.
2 man with money to spend.
I juss have one thing to say.
May the best overclocker win!

But if firstchocie adds a third titan, it basically reset the competition to who buy more shit.
Which takes d excitement out of it for me personally, because obviously 3 titan go eat 2 690 for breakfast.

This! My god! ah need ah meme or a gif for this thread!

Why is this even an argument? Clearly it's hierarchical... there will always be a need for something compact and portable, and there will always be a need for something of significant power where in which you won't get the same in a smaller device as much as you would like it to have that same power. If a company makes something small and powerful, another company can use that same technology and pack more power into a larger device.  Following this trend, doesn't matter how far mobile technology reaches, there will always be a larger more powerful device. Remember our needs today in a mobile device will change in the future and what we consider impressive will also change.
