serious? well i'm not sure if it's a driver update or something, but game moves alot smoother than before, and this is all settings on high...

i did a test before, carried the res to 800 x 600, and set each graphical setting to its minimum. I got the same fps when i set the game at 1280 x 1024 with all settings on high, and view details etc to card's recommended.

this game, even though a quad core would help, is badly coded. I'm sure that is the echo of many gta4 pc gamers, i hope that they are working on a new patch to help the situation, but right now, my cash stays in my pocket until i see some more fps..lol.

U took the words rite out of my mouth,lol. I was hell bent on buying this original, but a week after its release i began hearing about the bugs. But it runs sweet now since i got the patch but yea it could use some more tweaking.

the 'Fedor' crack doesn't work. already tried it.

Srry about the spellin , lol. How much longer for the crack, i beat it but wanna play it over to see the changes they made.

Sweet , did not actually think they woulda make a performance patch. But i already beat the game , had to use a few improvised fixes for the bugs encountered tho. Btw  has anyone tried it and does it help performance?
