You getting the 2014 moto g in capacities other than 8gb? Last time I checked only 8gb was available in the 2014.

I don't need more than an 8 gb. Not a big app fan at the moment. 16 gb SD card is more than enough since I don't listen to music on my phone. I only really take pics.. when i remember...

@Mez - I would have loved a Nexus 5 but it's out of my budget at this point in time.

Too big... I saw it in a store on display and it's simply too big. I already have a 10 inch tablet.

With this new Moto G (2014) I find the 5 inch screen to be just perfect for me.  Here's to hoping it lasts more than a year....

I looked around and read up a bit.  Awesome is right about the Blu. They are attractive price wise but the support seems to be lacking.

Motorola has been good to me before so I'll be giving them another shot. Getting the Moto G 2 this weekend. I was just hoping there were more choices in the price range but I suppose the low-mid range market isn't as diverse as I was hoping it would be

Mobile Phones & Gadgets / New Phone Recommendation

So I had a 1st Generation Moto G which worked beautifully till yesterday. Carried it to Dr Berry in Gulf City and the technician said there was water damage to the board. How that happened I have no idea.

Also as a heads up. Don't go to them. Poor customer service. Was told I would get a call within 24 hrs to inform me what was wrong. No call.  Called them, I was told of the issue and that I could collect my phone. Went to the mall and waited for an hour or more for the phone that was "ready for pick up".  Horrible experience with them which made me turn my eye away from them to purchase a new phone on the spot.

So here's what I'm in a bind about regarding a new phone.  I do like the 2nd Generation Moto G because of the pure android experience and it's value for your money with regards to the phone specs. Can't go wrong. Right now Amazon doesn't have it in stock for the price I will pay for it (180 USD).

I do not like the android interface for Samsung, LG, Sony and HTC. No I am not willing to root a brand new phone either. A phablet is out of the question as it's not practical for me to walk around with.

Based on my rather picky criteria, what recommendations would any of you make for me. I am willing to try one of the state brands above but I'm also not looking for a flagship phone.  Price range roof of about $300 USD.  I have considered the Nexus 5 but it is a little above what I'm willing to spend at this point.

From what I've read and seen, the game only looks and "feels" good.  It's an MMO regardless of what Bungie wants to refer to it as. The cornerstone of any MMO is dynamic content. There seems to be no captivating story progression. The fights are repetitive. People are reaching the max level in a matter of days. PVP isn't balanced.

If there's no depth and balance to the game then it won't last.  But if you're in it for the point and shoot I guess it'll hold you for a bit.

It's only a handful of guys that play in the PT server. Most of use play on others.

Poor Pyralis. =p

Kitty called Flow last night. At least the woman there knew what ping and latency was opposed to the woman from TSTT you spoke to. XD

hmm virtue is the only person ive heard complain about lack of content with this game though.

from what others have told me  its very worth it, even moreso since there is no subscription fee.

Trust me. It gets boring very fast if you're not a GW2 player from before. "Content" in most MMO's now are code name for grinding.

90% of the people I knew that played GW2 stopped because it got extremely boring. But that's just my take.

If you really want a GW player opinion, see if Apprentice is still playing

Nope. Not worth it.

Content is lacking even after all this time. Seems no one else can do an MMO like Blizzard can.
