Ladies free tuesday for the win! I not going to lie, i CHEAP !!! No shame in that. And nuttin wrong with the cinema, its the MOVIE i'm going to see, not the ambience of the cinema to bask in ^_^! So $10 for 2 movies AND i don't have to pay for the lady = Good day for me  -_-

But, i heard from many people that the actual storyline and stuff for the movie was stupid. But, i think the gore and violence made up for it.

Hoss.. i went cinema with 2 girls yesterday to see it. It was doubled with V is for Vendetta. We reach the cinema 15 minutes late, so we reach when the movie was in the night period(daz the most i could say without spoiling anything). When we sit down and watch a good 10 minutes dem girl an dem was covering dey eyes, cringing and start to whimper and thing. NO JOKE! i was like.. wtf  and i my face was also like this ^_^. It was SO funny! The girls were begging to leave, so me being the kind hearted gentleman i was left with them and we walked about for awhile then returned to see V is for Vendetta.

But, the little parts i saw, TOTALLY COOL MOVIE!! It gets the thumbs up from me! Unnecessary gore and violence = good movie!!!

There is a new group called the Game Freaks Organization. Its an inter-Caribbean Fifa'06 tournament. Its on the Xbox, BUT they have convertors for PS2 controllers.

Every weekend they will be having Pre-lims to find the cream of the crop in  Trinidad and then the champion in Trinidad will compete in the other islands and then the winner of the Caribbean will compete in USA, Europe etc.

The pre-lims i'm not sure about the date...i think this weekend is D'abadie, next weekend South, Chaguanas then they wrapping up in Long Circular Mall.

Its $100 for you to try your skills.  These people were on Synergy on Friday Night Lights. You might catch the re-run sometime

Upcoming Tournaments, Lan Parties, Sweats & Events / Re: ARENA 2

Ok.. well i have to apologise for saying to take out the Naruto COMPLETELY. If there's a fan base for it and enough competition then by all means put it in.

So, from everything else i've read people are more leaning towards COD:UO rather than COD2?

So far all the games i'm hearing suggested i agree with most and one game to add to the list is Classic Street Fighter 2 (hyper fighting/turbo/new challengers). You CAN have Sf2 AND a 3rd Strike tourney and there would be huge crowds for both. Another game to consider (note well i said CONSIDER!! Not recommend!) is Bloody Roar 4.

I do have ONE major complaint though. Instead of playing Naruto GNT 3 OR 4, why not replace that game with Super Smash Brothers Melee. I know, i know there are people who play Naruto.. BUT, there are 20x the amt. of Smash Brothers players in T&T compared to the Naruto. There is a huge demand for smash bros. and i'm surprised i haven't heard anyone suggest it is yet. In Arena 1, for the most part what i observed was that people who wanted to play Naruto came from Techsource and probaly 1 or 2 people from the oustide, but in total it was like 7 people registered? So, the demand for Naruto isn't that much.. plus it'll be taking up organizational time... ^_^

My team has already paid the $60 registration, but we have to buy our $100/$40 tickets now, but because of the public holiday no GL is open today, would we be able to buy them tomorrow? I kinda wondering since tomorrow is the start of the tourney (our event is Sunday though...)

I agree with 4ever_within_uber, you seriously need to post up the information for ALL the games. I know i'm only concerned with COD, but there is no information about any other game right now, if there is information then it isn't being distributed properly.

Console Gaming Archive / Onimusha 3, the biginning movie
« on: October 23, 2004, 04:11:04 PM »
Well... yea the starting movie bad like crab. When i first see it i was wondering if this was some japaneese movie instead of Onimusha 3 in the PS2. Real good animations, graphics, the fighting kicked brass. Definitely movie material in my opinion
