If it's apps ur looking for, make YouTube your friend. I frequented channels like CooLoserTech when I got my first Android device. Discovered a lot of interesting apps through said channel.
I can bet Arc money that he'll see very little, if any difference in performance between his much rated-up, wallet-busting Note and the OnePlus. Just because it's twice as expensive doesn't mean it's twice as good. Just saying .
So has mine. I've never had a single touch related issue with my OnePlus One. The only problem I've ever had was where the CM lockscreen would constantly crash when using a third party launcher like Nova and you changed the wallpaper. And that issue was fixed in the last update, so things have been perfect for me since then.
I agree that HTC might be you're best choice. It has the best speakers on any phone, so your audio needs are set with that, it has a design that very comfortable in the hand, exceptional build quality with its uni-body metal casing, has a really good screen and multitasks like a boss.
You may however want to go with the HTC One M8 if you want micro-sd support. The original HTC One doesn't have this option. Check out this review and see if it's something you'd like.
We are excited to announce that the media center software we’ve all loved for so many years will have a new name, starting with version 14. Instead of XBMC 14, we’d like to introduce you to Kodi 14.
Since 2002, the software known as XBMC has gone through three namings. First, it was called Xbox Media Player. Upon realizing that it did a bit more than your traditional media player, in 2004 the development team elected to rename it Xbox Media Center. A mere 4 years later in 2008, the team once again elected to rename the software to simply XBMC, given that it had moved on from its original roots on the Xbox. Support for the Xbox was dropped shortly thereafter. Today it’s all happening one last time.
You can try what Sax said and install it on your PC to see if you can retrieve the data that way. If you can't and you're in the Eldorado/Tunapuna anytime soon, I can see what I can do for you.
He's apparently getting some errors when trying to sign up for PSN. He only recently got it apparently. Not familiar with the service at all so I'm not really much help.
