oh ok. it's just that right now i'm using Greendot, u know, the world's worst ISP, and their http speeds are literally 10x better than their bittorrent speeds. but what your saying is that a torrent with a high seed count should download at http speeds? i don't want to make the same retarded decision twice.

GREENDOT IS DE WORSE!!!!!! I never in my wildest dreams would have thought that there service would have been this unreliable. I only took it out because TSTT DSL wasn't availiable in my area. But boy was that a mistake. Their http/ftp download speeds are all over the place (15-20k one minute and 02.5 the next!!!). And lets not talk about the p2p/bittorent speeds. Oh good Lord the torrent speeds!!!!! A month ago it was a passable 15-25k most of the time. Now!?!.......anyware from 0.5 to 8k!!!!! UNBEARABLE!!!! I'm actually 10 shades greyer because of them. And when I call them they say they would 'check in' to the problem and try to rectify it and call back a week later with NO SOLUTION!!!! Disgusting customer support!!! I need to find out if I can get a refund of some kind for the dish when I drop them. Stay very, very far away my friends.

What about that EVDO sevice that TSTT is offering. Is it out yet, and is it suitable for bittorrent use only?

I've found this program call HTTP-Tunnel Client, which works on Bittorrent and P2p programs like a charm. The only problem is that it's not free. There is a free server, but the bandwith is limited to 1.5k. The paid service has unlimited bandwith and is at a reasonable price, but you can only pay using Paypal or eSellerate. I know that Trinis can't use Paypal, but does anyone know if eSellerate recognises our country? If you do, please reply.

PS. I'm from El Dorado.

The $1000 dollars that i've paid does include the installation fee plus $375 for the month and I couldn't read any "reviews" for their sevice because I didn't have access to the net before. I also have no idea what Port Tunneling is. Any suggestions on where to start?

Hey peoples,
I've recently payed over $1000 bucks to get DSL from Green Dot for the soul purpose of downloading from Bittorrent and P2P (especially Bittorrent). Now that I've gotten it, the http download speed are fine (between 20-40kps), but the bittorent speeds are DEAD SLOW!!!, like 0.25kps slow. It's extremely frustrating because they're telling me that it's normally for it to be that slow when many people are on the P2P server, but it's been like that ever sense I got it (2 weeks). My opinion is that the ports are closed, but they're telling me that they must be open if I can download anything at all. Can someone please help me out with a solution. I can't afford to sign up with TSTT and it would be unfortunate for me to loose the money I've already payed. I would be forever greatful. -_-
