Not to hijack this thread, but seeing that the PSU is a 20-pin PSU... I have a 20-pin to 24-pin adapter.

$70.00 I ask for it.

I make this post in case someone want to use Jedi's PSU with a 24-pin motherboard.

u dont need a 24 pin converter to use it on a 24 pin board tho. it works fine without it. did some digging and found that its actually not advisd to use it, because all it does is split one of the 12v rails and is used to provide power to the pci-e slot which is already getting power from that (split) 12v rail. so in essence it jus adds resistance to the whole psu circuit without adding extra power. i was using this psu on my abit fatal1ty and was gonna get the converter till i read about that whole resistance thing....psu still for sale tho.

Small warning:  20-pin PSUs only work on 'first-generation' 24-pin boards.  Meaning, only the first few batches
of motherboards manufactured with a 24-pin power connector (2004-2005).
All new motherboards will not support this PSU.

I tried numerous 20-pin power supplies on a MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum, and it would not boot.  Even used the same
converter Saxman spoke about.
First 24-pin I tried started it right up, so just be absolutely sure that this PSU will work with your motherboard.

Its not advisable to use a 20-pin PSU on a 24-pin motherboard anyway.  You'll already be behind the curve in
power efficiency.  Adding more devices will compound the issue.

This is in no way meant to discourage the sale eh.  Just do your research people.

yep, ur right there. however the only thing that suffers from the lack of the extra pins would be the pci-e slot on the board. strange that ur NEO4 didnt work with the 20-pin psu, because i have a friend using a 20-pin generic on his NEO4, which i am encouraging him to change by the way.
