I'm loving "The most important game of all time" according to Gamepro. It was indeed not short of amazing. I remember spending a lot of time just doing nothing in particular in it. Good stuff.

i liked the list

i mean even the games at the end of the list are AMAZING
and highly important....

makes me f**KIng proud to be a gamer as long as i have...
but number 2 was like uh... thats more important than mario an zelda???...

and then number 1....

iam sorry but that game does NOTHING for me, i thought the first in the series was the best and i honestly dont think it was as revolutionary and important as several titles mentioned before it.


and tthe company that made the game... look @ what they are making now... wow possibly the laziest game ever..

The list is a nice trip down memory lane. Fuh real. Some impressive titles there.

A reminder of some great games that I never completed / played (Resident Evil 4, MGS)

huh? @ #2. NFL would be way off my list  but I can see it being a big thing in America.

The last one, while I don't play the game because of the negative influence it would have on my son, I'm the first to admit that it was absolutely brilliant. Also, the most anticipated game at it's release.

It brought so much to the table. Just wow!

Talk about a land mark.

Loved the original too Crixx, the 2D top down Grand Theft Auto games. Those were a riot!

The formula changed drastically with the move to full 3D in GTA3 but in so doing, they redefined gaming.
