Well, I DID remember telling you that you NEED a controller with analog sticks, or a driving wheel to
try those events eh.  The A.I. for those events especially deadly.

btw......Forza chew up and spit out Muddass GT....htf is GT simulation when you bounce off the friggin track corners and take no damage :/

I agree with the no damage part i dont really like either as im more into street racing but GT does test all the cars and build em to specs in game.

Lol thanks boy Dani...im at 26% tier 4. I play all my races on Pro and there's only about 2 or 3 races that I didnt bother to place first (those 2 part races that you dont HAVE to place first to win). I dont know how the experience is on a controller, but I MUST say...its VERY enjoyable on my keyboard.

Well I still on tier 1.  Yes, I know, but time is my enemy.
Controller or NOTHING.  A game should be fun, not work.

Playing that with a keyboard is WORK!!!

Well i'm not playing this game anymore. Fcuking thing corrupt my save games out of the blue, essentially thrwoing away all my hard earned wins thus far. Nice game, but save games is too much of a fundamentally essential aspect of the game for codemasters to be dropping the ball like this with no fixes available. So many people complaining and they still sit on their royal hineys doing nothing about this. It was nice while it lasted. *Uninstalled*

hmmmm lucky you. That is level balls thissavegame business. I not going to replay allll that just to have it corrupt on me again. I cant even get someone else's savegames to work, using the logic that even if i get someone else's 100% completed game, i could just continue from where I left off. No luck even with that. Fire burn.

So i have the game, and im running Vista Ultimate, 3.0Gig Intel Dual Core Processor, 2Gigs DDR2, Radeon 9600 256MB card.
i know the card supports pixel shader 2.0, the game requires 3.0.

is there a patch?

also my NFSC crashes after splash screen....
i just dl the 1.4 patch going to see if that helps...

ne other ideas?

The minimum requirements for DiRT are quite steep.  I doubt that your Radeon 9600 meets even the minimum spec.
The game wont even START unless you satisfy the minimum video-card spec.

The latest patch (ver 1.2) does not relax the min spec though.
