Only $339 US.

Well, i'm a bit late to the party but...I can't stop...I wont stop. eh eh eh eh

This chip is an absolut BEAST. I wonder what else can be achieved....I wonder......

Thank you sunbeamtech for releasing your i7 retention bracket. $10us was a bit much, but at least I didnt have to change my entire cooler.

* tips hat *  :notworthy:

You sir, are a BOSS at overclocking.  You actually inspired me to push my rig that
much farther to achieve stable 4 GHz operation.  That 21x multi is 'de flick'.
Very early on I realized that 200 x 20 would not work, at any combo of voltages and settings.

I see your vCore is at 1.47.  That seems like danger territory for air cooling.
I hope you not thinking of running it like that 24/7.  Them i7s not as burly when
it comes to overvolting.  24/7 operation for me is at a quite safe 3 - 3.6 GHz.

As good as my Noctua cooler is, I'm still kinda pissed that their 1366 retention bracket wasn't more widely available.

Actually, i'm nowhere near done fiddling with voltages so if I could get things stable at about 1.42v or so for 4ghz, i'll use that 24/7. But once the temperature stays pretty decent, I dont see why they cant take the 1.5. I'll do some more research on voltage tolerance of them.

This is the lowest possible voltage I could get it running at 4ghz. Still, I am very comfortable with this voltage for 24/7 usage.

But i'll leave that for sometime down the road where I may need the extra speed. 3.8 seems like it for me for the while though.
