To be honest, I'd like to start something up in Soul Calibur, but I've yet to find any competition. Clearly, I'm not looking hard enough. Can anybody help me out here?

Soul Calibur 1,2 & 3 player. I'm a message away if you want competition. But then again, I don't think I'd be the best opponent to start on. That's just my opinion though.

so retail copies of soul calibur 4 have been appearing at random stores...initial reports indicate that the netplay sucks ass.

nooo please don't say that. Were those reports on PSN or Xbox live.

I plan to get this to play -Xbox360 Fighting Stick EX 2- as I quickly realized when playing the street fighter 2 turbo hd remix beta that the xbox controller doesn't quite cut it for fighting games. lol who would've' thunk.

get one for the time being, theres an empty slot thats rumored to be for a downloadable character. ie vader for 360, yoda for ps3

a person that got his copy early was streaming live from his website for some time this weekend. Got a GOOD look at all the characters.
Yoda is like the new Gon, you can grab him and high attacks dont seem to really hit him.

The guy was playing on 360 so i havent seen any Vader.

Ive seen Apprentice, very fast fighter, his Force Explosion thingy is op....meaning he can clear you straight accross the map and ring out your @ss.....however it takes a second to use, so i guess theres a tossup.

The rest....well i always play Ivy, but im liking Ashlotte (the Astaroth clone) and Hilde...who just mad!

BTW just got my PS3 copy

Depends , in single player it doesn't hold my interest as much as a street fighter or mk would but it rocks in 2 player. This is due to there being almost no story and some crappy endings.

Its so cool that Darth Vader has lines from the movies. Visually its awesome but then all Soul Calibur games were.

If u like jello and have a friend or friends to play it with then go ahead and get it.\

no idea how online multiplayer is as its now 30 days since my internet down. F*$k TSTT!
