Hard luck fella, but you look for it though, cant insult a game like max payne and get away with it...

I remember going euro and playing this game from start to finish...good times...

ON the movie aspect of the game, how do you ppl suspect they will do the bullet time effect with it, seeing that the matrix trilogy come out and the movie industry has already been flooded with clones and variables..

Maxx Payne was a BEST game BAR NONE, anyone who says otherwise can kiss my Sharingan toating rear! that aside though, I hope this movie meets the expectations of the game, cause my experience of the game was fantastic and I would love to relive that on the silverscreen! Mark should hold the role well enough, now its in the hands of the rest of the cast and the director.

Hopefully they won't rely on the wow factor of bullet time to sell the movie. The crazy action and overthetop villans (like that crack head satanist) should make for an interesting story. If they use the bullettime sparingly it should be interesting enough.

I want to see what kinda scene they gonna generate when Max is pumped full of the Valkyr...

The stage for that part in the game was just freaky.....

I was thinking the same thing that man real creep me out in that game, but te heights of the movie should be based heavily on the psychological gameplay that takes place in Max's mind, from losing his family and to finding the source of its happening. Instead of making it a shootemup special.

Not necessarily, I mean Max Payne always had a Hollywood like story and If they stick with it we jsut might get another decent Video Game Movie crossover.

yea i will check it out, for two main reasons, it's Max Payne and well Mark Walberg (good actor). If it sucks, won't do anything to me really....

2. Max Payne was the FIRST game to use BULLET TIME......EVER. The amount of games that followed from people that actually KNOW bout games have lost count.

I saw the trailer today in a movie theater. It looks like it has a lot of potential. Mark looks like Payne and the entire atmosphere of the movie looks spot on. Of course, they have some bullet time effects in there. Mila Kunis looks almost exactly like Mona Sax as well.
