is damn right, imagine i abandon all my planned upgrades to my intel platform when the total cost of a mobo chip and ram for the amd platform is the same as the cost of my single intel board 0_0

This has to be one of the cheapest lineups of CPU's I've seen till date. I knew that a reduction was in the works, but I wasn't expecting such a steep drop.

My specifications are astonishing because I own a high performance Aleinware Desktop. I recently bought the Alienware Area-51 ALX with max specifications. I live in the U.S. and I'm glad to have come across this forum but I have no real connection with Trinidad except for visiting the country once for vacation.

If possible, do some bechies with 3dmark 06, pcmark, crystal mark etc etc and post a summary of your results in this thread

It cost me close to $11,000 US with everything. It includes a cordless desktop and a 30" Widescreen flat panel. The standard version would have cost under $5,500US, but it would have been far inferior in my opinion. A few of my friends also bought the same thing and now there is an overclocking war going on between us, I chose to sit out for now.
