Well I saw most of the first ep... interesting I guess... yeah continuity to the actual story line from the comic went out the window ages ago, but ah well.. I was SOOO hoping Chloe would get cut... just cause noone (save a few nobodies) EVER DIE on this damn show... that aside, Lana in Shangai... and Clark healing with some exargerated sun beams... I have referred to this series as SOAPVILLE for a long time now, but i'll still watch it when I can... supergirl is a hottie though

small goof that most people unless they hard core superman fans like me wouldnt pick up on

THey goofed with Kara's name.

Clark's Mother's name is Lara El

His dad's Is Jor El

But here is the goof.
Lara's name is a two part name

Its LA of the house of RA
so is kara's
Ka of the house of RA
Her dad is an EL
her name should be Ka El
Like KAL EL
not kara zor el
she would needlessly have two last names

Actually I beleive you are wrong though with the way DC retcons itself so often we may both be right. As far as I know Kryptonian women drop their last name upon marriage. Lara Lor-Van was actually from the house of Van I believe and when she married she became Lara dropping her fathers name Lor-Van.

Girls take their father's whole name until marriage which is why Kara is Kara Zor-El.
