Play any Video type on Ps3

Ok i was wondering how to play avis on ps3 without installing linux and this works great for me. Stream videos directly from your pc to your ps3 http://tversity.com/download/

I had a lil problems installing but it works great high quality. Watch Avi's, Flv's, Divx, etc.

You need to have a wired connection to ps3 oh btw i think this works on Xbox360 too but i think it needs a little extra installing it should have info on homepage.

Interesting....

But i find it quick and easy for me just to convert the vid...

Converts uber fast with dual-core cpu :D

yeah but this way i have no need to use any space on my hard drive and waste time converting 700mb files. or in some cases 100 eps+ of an anime.

And what about all the time converting hundreds of episodes of anime into mp4s? trust me if u can use this its much more convenient.

I use a converter if i want to show anything on the PS3 or the 360. WMV plays off my external HDD on the 360 and MP4 on the PS3....all my anime i want to watch can play on the DVD/AVI player. :D
Actually my Zune has INvasion and Transformers on it to watch on the planeride to California....better than taking out a laptop. That is in wmv format too....the movie maker 2 works well to convert any codec files.
FYI as far as media space goes noawdays....external HDD's are kinda mandatory if you have tons of video.
