Loved the premiere. Got a "classic Dexter" feel from it, as if Dex is returning to his roots. Awesomeness. The humor was spot on too.
Could turn out to be a really epic season.

Also was cool to get Dex's take on religion...which coincidentally matches my own =]

Sounds like that good ol greed. They willing to pay 20m already, which is already slightly ridiculous.

The other side of the argument is that Showtime stands to make a whole lot more money on this series, so why not pay the 24m.

If Spartacus taught us anything, it's that NO actor is indispensible.

Such a depressing read.

It's true that no actor is indispensable but to me Michael C. Hall IS Dexter. If he's replaced, I'm done watching. I'm sure a lot of fans feel the same.

Exactly, Hall is the one that drives the show mostly.

They can get another guy, make another serial killer/crime drama and name it something else but don't replace Hall as Dexter. Seeing as Dexter is Showtime's highest rated show Im sure they will work something out soon, even if it's just for one last season (if 7 is the last I expect epicness in each episode leading to a mindblowing conclusion).

Unlikely, Harrison is integral to Dexter's humanization.

There might be some other big cliffhanger they leave us with, what that could be I honestly have no clue.
