We won't know for sure when Dexter is ending yet, there is still an opening for a Season 9. We should know by June.

Didn't C. Michael Hall himself say he only signed on for two more seasons at the end of season 6?

well extensions can always be made but... with the way things going... it feels like season 8 should be the last... i would hate for them to stretch out another season and make it subpar rather than just ending it on a high

Meh didn't like the ending at all then again the whole season wasn't going so great ...kinda sad considering how good the show was previously ...plus looking at it and watching breaking bad together makes it even worse

Yea it stopped being great after Season 4 and just being good but the ending was good

Not a 'bad' ending per se, but I think it would have been a little more poignant if the very final scene was left out...leave everyone wondering nah.

Oh well, it's been great.

I hope Homeland can rise to those great heights.
