Well, so far, my experience on the PS3 demo has been a very disappointing one... :(

For whatever reason, my PS3 shuts off while playing this demo.  I get the three beeps, and the power LED flashes red
until I manually turn off the power switch.  The console itself is standing vertically, on the top shelf in open air, so I
don't think its a heat issue.  System runs fine otherwise, and I didn't get these issues during the beta.  It has to be this demo.

I remember getting this issue in Bad Company 1.  It was resolved by deleting all downloaded content and re-installing.
I tried that as well, but it didn't help.  Still shut down this morning.  My last resort was to remove and reseat the internal HDD.
I'm surprised how easy that is to do.

Played one full round and it hasn't crashed yet.  We'll see how THAT goes.

Strange played it a few hours last night, didn't have any system issues. Corrupt download?

That's really strange. Bad Company 1 used to freeze my xbox360, and I wasn't the only 360 owner to experience that. So hearing Arcman's problem makes me wonder.

EA has posted up a "field manual" for Bad Company 2. The manual contains just about everything in the game along with a few suggestions. It looks like all maps, weapons, and vehicles are listed. You need an EA or Xbox live account to access it.

I remember Blu_Vice said that the 'Intervention' rifle was in this game.  I wonder if he is confusing it with this...

The designs are quite similar, right?

Anyway, decided to do a little reading up on it...

Here's the website for CheyTac LLC, the company that makes it.

...and here I thought the Barrett series of sniper rifles were the baddest.  No so.
This thing can hit targets quite comfortably at distances out to nearly THREE KILOMETERS!!! :awesome:

This vid on the website explains the 'system' a bit more.

I wonder how long its going to take before I unlock that bad-boy?

I signed in with my email acct that I used to register with EA.  You should have done the same for the beta.  Use that.

Ok I got the game yesterday off steam and boy oh boy was I blown away. THIS is what I have been waitin on, the explosions, the destructive environments, the sticking c4 to an atv on a suicide run.....ah good times

Had a sweat with Warone, Arcman, Berserk and me in a squad causing damage.

It have some fellas there with some serious teamwork that gave us hell a few times but we were communicating as with anything like this so that was the big plus factor.

Yeah a lil crash here and there nothing to complain about as it is a beta. This beta runs better than some FULL games as far as I see it.

Twas a good sweat indeed and hope to enjoy more killing fun with local peeps :)
