anyone has a problem with the server browser? only way i could play games is by the history, favourites or play now options. the server browser takes forever to load

yeah, the server browser takes FOREVER. It is just insane.

If you click cancel, the results come up after a second or so. Go figure.

I think they will fix that in the next patch.

Also, reaper, I just ignore that in game ping myself. If the server is showing a decent ping in the browser, it is usually playable.

Try sweating with us, we can confirm whether the lag is affecting other trinis.

That aside, I have a few more quirks with this game, I find that if you have no team it SUCKS LARGE SWEATY GREASY BALLS.... 4 ppl in a party? WTF were they thinking? as redlum and jarrox expereinced last night they ended up with 4 of them against... what 3 squads? 12 ppl? There are certain GATT members that cried foul over MW2, but at least we could play 6-8 member squads against comparable numbers. Then there is the no STRAFE problem Capn first mentioned it and I am mentioning for my 2nd or 3rd time, lack of this option can be rather ANNOYING... the game is REAL enough to have buildings collapse but I can even WALK while strafing around a target? I guess humans must all be RETARDS. Another point... so it's SOO RE-HEAL... we have bullet lag... but the sniper DOES NOT MOVE? We must all have IRON GRIPS and UNFAILING MUSCLES... cause I can look down that scope CROUCHED ... NOT PRONE... and hold it like i'm immortalized in a photo... i'm just THAT GOOD! Redlum i'm sure is happy for this cause he's already progressed everything in scout... but I who r assualt... not too happy about snipers being able to pose like the GOVERNATOR in conan days with a scope. And lastly, once in a party of 4 we can't communicate with the other IDIOTS.... I mean SQUAD MATES on our team cause they are either in a party of their own or just DON'T FCKING listen... and yet MW2 is epic fail... hmmm Just some food for thought. I'm intersted in responses from pirates XD

I agree with your points there, especially with communication and squad management. The game definitely aint perfect but still fun nonetheless.

Yeah this game doesn't go down very well when playin with random people. Dunno if u can pull off 2 squads on the same team for multiple rounds though that would be cool. Taking a break from MW2 for now.

yes as in local server run by EA (i have the game original via steam). I have seen servers from England, USA, France, Germany and half of Europe an haven't seen any from here................yet. The only servers I look for is mostly Tactical servers and I just got out of a great run in the 82nd Airborne Tactical Server. thinking bout heading back later after dinner but the lag is still kicking my arse from time to time.

I love this game BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD!!! Make you work hard for your unlocks instead of acquiring them easily. Communications is very vital i hate lone wolfs.

My gripe with the 4 man team thing is that if you're playing with 4 strangers, there's no communication and there's nothing stopping them from dropping out whenever the hell they feel like and makes the team loose. This has happened to me COUNTLESS times and is solely responsible for my bad win/loss ratio. DAMMIT.

that's why I play with my squad or with people who I played alongside for years instead of strangers cause you really cant count on them to back you up.

yeah, it ain't perfect but it's my brother...err..hoss.

Communication is important no doubt as is team work. You'll get neither playing with randoms (unless you're VERY lucky)

Someone need to get innovative and find a way to link all GameIDs yes, like OpenID but for gamers.
