Many have said that, but in this 'case' (pun intended :)), it's form over function.

...and few cases can can deliver more than what's on offer here.  There's no denying that.

One thing that intrigues me and yet scares me, is the use of the daisy-chaining for the SATA power connectors for the hot-swap drive bays.

On the one hand, it'll make cable management that much easier (only need to use 1 SATA power cable to handle the drives).

On the other hand, I'd be more than slightly concerned as to if 1 connector will handle 5 drives safely...That is actually of concern to me, since I already use 4 SATA drives, with plans to add 2 2TB drives before the year's out. I would be willing to use 1 cable from the PSU to power 2 hard drives...but 5?

As for looks, I couldn't care less...my rig isn't going up for any beauty contests...

Crap...you're right.  I mean 'function over form'.

@ SPK: the same voltage rail powers all your drives anyway, so it wont matter.
That multi-SATA connector is another stroke of genius.

I think what Arc is trying to say is that all the psu's i/o power connectors are fed from a single internal rail, hence it wont matter if 5 drives are fed from one plug or are connected to 5 different connectors, not that hard drives do not draw much power.

Yeah, you're both right, but today's HDDs/SSDs are way more power-efficient,
so I don't see that multi-connector being an issue.  In fact, I feel that should be
standard in all enthusiast cases, like mobo-tray cutouts.

ent... its just so much neater, and its really unnecessary to have it separated

i marking this case but.. i still cant justify the extra $50-$80 over the HAF X yet
