Well the topic has sat in this thread long enough. And so it came to pass, PhysX will not be put toward the official score, however ppl please do feel free to include it in your Score as a reference.

Quick update.

As agreed by staff, we will transition the rigorous benchmark testing requirements to the 3dmark 2011 thread. This is for the hard core aficionados.

The Vantage thread has been simplified to lower the barrier to entry. A link to the vantage results page is all that is needed to have a score enter this particular leaderboard.

The idea is that the Vantage thread will serve as a proving ground for new PC gamers while the 3dMark 2011 thread will be home to the elite and veterans of the platform.

Those who are familiar with the slew of apps and tools required to assure stability and legitimacy of their scores.

Hopefully this is a "win win" for all interested in the benchmarking scene, allowing casuals and stalwarts to participate.
