how much allyuh wha bet all ah them have need for speed and fifa?

yuh might have no choice there boy crixxy, yuh could buy it on steam and download it where ever you have a fast connection, back up the game using steam options to dvd5's and walk with that home or where ever and bam you just run the first disk and it will install the game.

i use that for steam games nao since i doh have to wait on updates and such.

or you could buy a key on agerage or so and then use a copy from a friend or sum

Once you have a fast connection, Steam is it yes. I didn't know you were allowed to backup your Steam games.
If you do this, is there any major downloading to be done again when you're installing from the disk?

I got COD4 on steam last night XD
Was gonna buy the cd key alone but I really love how steam works... that extra $20 for a download whenever needed and Steam organising everything for me.
Worth it.

you dont necessarily have to back up to dvd's, you can simply copy it to a hard drive.
And umm the backup works by double clicking a steam backup executable.
And Steam does the rest I believe.

nope doh matter the card u using. matter the account you logged into at the time. OR if you especially bomby they can buy it and gift it to you.

Didn't even know that Steam allowed it till today. This feature is really kickass,
especially if said backed-up games had a LOT of after-install updates/patches.

Nah, wrong Redfish. Add him from the GATT group. He's in there.

Finally downloaded, installed, and just finished a 2-hour shoot up of the 'No Mercy' level.
I must say I am VERY impressed by Left 4 Dead. This game is my official NEW HOSS!!!

headset is serious criteria, game is the definition of co op...

when is a good time for a sweat? i could post announcement on the steam group

You guys think we could start using steam to organise sweats n practice in a bigger way?

especially for l4d, tf2, dow 2 and even cod4/5 (even if its retail you could add shortcut and access steam community)
