Is level training immc to defeat them. Got to reach TS 20. Start to see the game in matrix mode.

here is a lil brief on games for windows live, which is required for some games alongside steam

its mostly only needed for Dawn of War 2 right now but other games (gta 4 fallout 3 etc) also use it and it will most likely be a much bigger component of online gaming.

This part is the live guide overview:

The LIVE Guide is a launch pad to your gamer profile and gamer community. It gives you instant access to your friends, messaging, achievements, and personal settings. To access the LIVE Guide, press the Home key on your keyboard.

The six key areas of the LIVE Guide are:

1. Gamer card: Displays your gamertag, gamer picture, and stats. Select your gamer card to go to your gamer profile, where you'll find these options: View Games, Edit Gamer Profile, View Rep, and Account Management.
2. Messages: Exchange messages with members of Games for Windows - LIVE and Xbox LIVE (online only).
3. Friends: Check out your friends list (online only).
4. Players: View the gamertags of last 50 people you've played with (online only).
5. Private Chat: Initiate one-on-one voice chat with another player (online only).
6. Settings, which include options for:

o Online Status – how you appear to other players while you're online
o Voice – recording and playback device
o Notifications – turn notifications on and off
o Change Guide Key – change the key that opens the Guide
o Customer Experience – join the Customer Experience Improvement Program
o Network Information – information about your network settings
o Version Information – information about your version of Games for Windows – LIVE
o Join LIVE – if you are signed into an offline profile, this allows you to create an online profile

The LIVE Guide will notify you when your friends are online, when a friend has extended a game request, and when you've received a message or an invitation to chat.

Just want to focus on your game? Select Notifications and tell the LIVE Guide not to intrude. It's all up to you.

I know better than to vote against microsoft in the online gaming arena but I've got mixed feelings about Games For Windows Live right now.

If the service is down, you can't play online. Lame.

It does offer some wicked stats and gamertags. Like I said, mixed feelings.

The number of logins I have to go through in cyberspace nowadays. Ventrilo, Steam, GamesForWindowsLive, carigamers, windows live messenger, yahoo, facebook, cga, gatt, trinitechsquad, and more.

Need some sort of "one ring" for websites and online apps.

grrr this is irritating me, i would like to see my gamer tag info stuff but seem to only be able to access it from in game in dow using the home key, can you please tell me how to do so otherwise

you mean the statistics? I only see them in game. Haven't found a way to see it outside of DoW2 yet. Lemme know if you do.

well outside of my annoyance that cant see stats when not in game, must say iam loving my day and a half of dow, lol i wake up seeing wraithlords and shuriken canon positions in my head now.
think i need to fake ah sick this friday yes.

I honestly have been wracking my brain to figure out how eldar is supposed to overcome the small economy in the game with such expensive units.. sigh.

apparently, space marines have the most expensive units in the game. Eldar supposed to be cheap and fast (but brittle). Mobility is their strat.

all over the place, map control, etc...

the official dow2 community has decent info on strats and builds.

dow2 codex site has excellent info on the races/units/abilities/etc...

reading iwmc.

this friday is a holiday afaik. Nuff training immc.

eldar req cost are faily low, except for guardians, they expensive for ling like units but all eldar units have high and recurring energy costs, just like toss.
mobility really is their thing,they can dive in and out of battle and do damage, but they not good at holding points. THey have 1 non hero melee unit and no heavy infantry
that is really annoying, if i want heavy anti infantry i hadda go machines.

wow.. thats insane

had a lil hick up with my drive last nite
went thru vistas system restore for first time, must say its a major improvement over xps system restore process.. so yet again, kudos to vista. but as a result i went to bed early, was sick after all

so only got two games of dow in for the day before that, watched alot of replays, who knew that was an achievement so yays.

On another note, this weekend would be a good time to get that cod4 dere baego, so if possible lewee organise for another giftings + money transfer plixx

I've gotten as high as 456k download speed from steam with ps3 downloading as well. I've only recently joined steam but I'm highly impressed with their service. I cant see why any pc developer wouldn't use steam for distribution.
