Fellas...I found another server that Trinis frequent.

TRINI KILLZONE - 190.213.21.166:28960

Make sure and add that IP to your favourites.

I also found another interesting one...

{BsO} Bolt Snipers Only - 68.232.169.144:28930

The thing with that one, is that you can ONLY use bolt-action sniper rifles as an attacking weapon.
That means no grenades, no pistols, no turret mounted machine-guns, no perks like martyrdom, overkill, etc.
You CAN use your knife, and air-strikes, helis.  It was frustrating at first because the server admins watch over the
game like hawks and will kick you for the second offence.

...oh and one more thing.  ALL kills MUST be done from the scope, no 'hip-fire' whatsoever.  You get kicked for
your FIRST offence on that one.  After you get the hang of it though, its a real fun server to play on.

Before WAW came out, I used to frequent a server like that where all their maps were custom ones. For example, they had this stadium one with about a million windows which was just awesome. Snipers only. It was bess.

Baw @ redfish acquiring a legit key. Sweatt.

7 still has the punkbuster issue, ie the "Unrecognised windows version" error that kicks you out of the game. That is the main reason why I runing on Vista now. As soon as rtm hits though, it's 7 all the way.

As for the limited or no connectivity...I have no idea. Give us a rundown of your config...routers, nic's modem etc.

well windows 7 is great, oh and i think there is a fix for that punkbuster issue, google it... but i was just holding out for the RTM.

as for the connectivity issue, i think it's a problem with nvidia's networking controller and vista's dhcp thingy..

NIC: Nforce 1000mbps Lan Integrated
Wifi Router: Nexxt 54m Wireless Router
Dsl Router: Paradyne 6211

have the dsl router connected to the wifi router via the WAN port, then the pc connected to the wifi router via network cable. DSL's ip address is 192.168.1.1 and i set the wifi router to 192.168.2.1. I have the Ip's in the dhcp server set to static config by using the mac address of each machine that connects to the network. And i also have DMZ set up for the pc's ip address. Updated the wifi router's firmware even. Been through this before when i first got vista 64bit in november last year... i just reinstalled vista last week and now the problem is present again. Can't remember what i did exactly because it was a whole series of attempts.. I just tried a registry fix to turn off the vista dhcp broadcast flag since they say it's off by default in xp. Hope that can fix the issue, will monitor the situation.

Ok had a very sweaty session last night in the server. You can call it a test & tune lol.

Arcman, Foz4ric(chinarakinda), Shotology101(philosophical45), ninjabilly/chucknorrisTT(not sure what name he has on here cause has too many lol), Massacre and myself went ape $hit with free for all

My my that was a blast especially using a voice chat in xfire. Plenty ymc!! waaayz!!! yuh lucky!!! ohh $hit man!! etc was shared and I must say we enjoyed the sweat.

Yes it wasn't planned but after that session I am positive there will be more sessions. Cap you need to decrease the spawn time  on the server dread, 10secs real long lol.

Next thursday is a holidy and I think the following week friday is a holiday so let we see.

Yea that spawn time is a bit annoying. Plus with so much time spectating the others, you can figure out where the others are easily. I say change it to not automatically follow player but change to over view spectator mode and press the use key to respawn.....
Oh and i fixed that problem. It definitely was the dhcp problem. Did a reg fix and a winsock reset and it seemed to work..
