I am a bit shocked by some of the reviews actually, the single player campaign looks like a winner to me, as always it is full of stunning setpieces that has got to get the adrenaline flowing. I was not surprised when my fav game review show (X-play) gave it a 5 out of 5. With that said...

This is all great news for BF3... LMAO

Multi-player is where it is at.... :headbang:

BF3 on console sucks, my opinion on that still stands sadly and believe me I am TRYING HARD to like it... MW3 MP is solid as always. Nothing beats playing at 60fps. BF3 on the PC is where it's at, anyone who says differently doesn't own it on PC.

I can't connect to jack on the xbox 360 either, I found one game last night in a lobby where w1ntry and some other people where and then it dropped...... on the ps3 side I connect to games all the time quite easily. Haven't got a chance to try the pc version from anyone I know as yet but meh I really hope this is just a minor issue gears of war 3 etc connects to games fine.

Hey all, does anyone know any info on when or IF the  local matchmaking(i.e: Trinis are matchmade against Trinis) will be set to being optional such as in MW2 and Black Ops.
This is really frustrating...MW3  delivers what COD is about, but this really puts a damper on the game.
Some times matchmaking takes  a long time, spent a half hour waiting in the lobby.Never even got a chance to try kill confirmed or even domination!

From what I heard.. this local matchmaking was supposedly and intentionally done as to limit lag for US and UK gamers(the main markets for COD)

I am hopeful when the dashboard update is rolled out we'll see a difference. Otherwise my advice in the meantime is to seach in the Advanced-barebones gametypes. You'll find both local and foreign players in this game mode without too much hassle.

I tried the advanced/barebones gametypes....same issues as before :( appreciate the advice though.
I checked the COD official forums, the is a thread for matchmaking problems, alot of ppl are reporting this issue.
Does the PS3 version have this forced local matchmaking?

Hey ppl,
found a response from Robert Bowling fourzerotwo twitter concerning the forced local matchmaking:

"Alex @fourzerotwo Have you got any plans on taking off the Region Lock? I live in Finland and cant find any lobbies after 2am."

fourzerotwo Robert Bowling
@ @TheManlnBlack There is no Region Lock, but clearly weighted matchmaking is causing some unpredictable restrictions that we're looking into.
