I got a pair of powerline ethernet adapters to remedy my atrocious wireless innanets and they are working quite nicely. But because I did not do enough homework on the model, I paid almost doubel what I should have.

even though I'm not using a 7.1 setup 9yet)
its showing a huge increase in volume. especially if you use a headset (JAH)
and it was quite reasonable. got it for $200 TT at circuit zone
can't wait to get my 7.1 speakers

200 is reasonable. I was looking into buying a 5.1 Soundblaster live to get dolby live support (for surround sound in games) over the optical port with my z5500

does this have dolby?

Interesting that is has two optical ports as well.
